Bayside Gatherings — Local services in Garfield Township

Used Angela and her staff for our wedding. Food was delicious. Only thing I will say is a bit more on the expensive side compared to some other caterers in the area, but worth it. Everything was fresh and tasty/farm to table style.

Would probably advise buffet for wedding. We did family style and there were not enough servers. The trays had 6 pieces of meat on them when there were 8 people at the tables etc. It was hard to find staff to get more/refills. They were just too busy. We thought maybe it was that we did not have enough food or ran out, but then there were a ton of leftovers. Would advise against family style unless they can provide a staff member for every few tables. Also had a tough time getting the dietary restriction meals without finding staff even though I stated names and table numbers prior. Angela was a pleasure to work with! She’s extremely knowledgeable and well seasoned. Doing the tasting was so worth it - she’s so good at what she does! For our big day everyone raved about the appetizers, desserts and late night snack! All were a huge hit! We went off both our picks and her recs, some of which we didn’t taste beforehand so I highly recommend leaning into her recs!

Only down side was how delayed the dinner service was :( there must have not been enough staff or maybe it was the size of our wedding (215ish people) with plated meals… but dinner at some tables were delayed almost an hr and the chicken according to guests was dry which was a bummer to hear cause in the taste test it was mouth watering!

Angela and her staff could not have been a better caterer for our wedding day. For starters - her food was absolutely delicious, starting with our appetizers and ending with an ice cream bar (perfect for a 95 degree wedding day). Everything was set up immaculately, and she even provided some coordinating greenery arrangements to fit our decor. We have since received multiple compliments on her beautiful charcuterie board set-up. Angela has been super easy to work with from the very beginning, including being very flexible and helpful when we needed to reschedule our 2020 date.
