Took my kid here to celebrate her driver's license. It's a bit nicer than Starbuck, so thought it would be a treat. It was a treat alright, for Mundos! Almost $40 for 2 teas and two pre-made microwaved "sandwiches." Of course we were squeezed to pay a 15% or higher tip on the screen. That irks me. No one even said hi to us and we have to order and pick up and they want at least a 15% tip?

My teen ordered a raspberry hibiscus tea. There were no raspberries in it and it was very faintly flavored. She asked for sugar and the girl behind the counter pointed in the direction of the "condiments." My teen picked up what she thought was sugar (I make simple syrup at home for iced tea). However, the vessels were not labeled and poured that in her drink. It was creamer of some.kind and instantly it curdled in her drink. When I took her drink to the same girl behind the counter, she treated me like I was stupid and said that that happened because the tea is acidic and will curdle the cream. Then glared at me. I was not going to argue, so I sat back down.

My teen was almost in tears. I then have my (tasty) oatmilk chai latte to my teen, let her eat the other half of my sandwich, and we left. Of course we had to bus our own table.

I will not recommend this place nor will I visit on my own on purpose. I know its a popular meeting place so I will probably have to return at some point in time but if the choice is up to me i will ask we meet at Uncommon Good. Or McDonalds. They have good coffee and their employees...

To the barista gentleman who hand-crafted my delicious latte, thank you for making my day! I may or may not have told you I love you instead of saying thank you 😶 People....Mundos has ambiance like no other coffee shop in town, well lit with the big windows in front & cool lighting fixtures over the bar. There is a very open & inviting appeal to this place, like a breath of fresh air in comparrison to other crowded or tiny coffee shops around TC. There are also plants everywhere & they all appear very well cared for & add life & energy to whole cafe. The coffee beans being used are top notch & they sell their beans in house as well, I am considering picking up a bag on my next visit. Also prices are VERY fair 🤑 Staff are courteous, receptive & well trained in their craft. This isn't just push a button & you have a late, this is the real deal, HAND CRAFTED you truly can taste the difference & for $4 well 😄 posting a pic of my latte so the picture can speak for itself. If you haven't been here yet peeps ya gotta check this...

I visit family in Traverse City nearly every summer, and I always look forward to visiting Mundos (several times) while I’m in town. Their HQ building boasts an impressive number of tables and seats with power, it’s beautifully decorated, and it’s always clean. Baristas are friendly and helpful and always able to answer questions knowledgeably or make good recommendations. Beverages are superb. Whether you’re in the mood for a pour over or a flavored latte, you can always expect a quality drink. Hungry? The food options never fail to delight. I’ve tried several menu items, and all were delicious. Now I find it difficult to decide between my favorite items. Also, as a vegetarian, there are plenty of options. Mundos HQ is a wonderful place to meet for a drink, network, or plug and in work. Great food, service, and ambiance make this a standout location in Traverse City’s...

Found this Traverse City coffee and breakfast gem as we were leaving town. It’s off the main strip but worth the extra effort to go and find. The coffee is very fairly priced and the flavors and pours are superbly done by the baristas! The food is a little pricey when compared to a hometown hearty breakfast joint, but again, the flavors and presentations are immaculate. One drawback is the parking. For some reason they created additional spaces behind the ones alongside the building, so if you pull up to the building, expect to get double parked in as cars will park behind you and block you in. You’ll have to walk around asking other customers if they own the red Subaru and to move it so you can get out. The building owner really should fix this as it’s a safety hazard.
