Not such a great first time experience with picking up an online order here. This was my first time ordering online and I was also in quite a hurry, the front desk clerk motioned me to the back of the store where you pick up online orders. From there, I waited and waited for about 10 mins, no one came by. I even hit the red light that was sitting on the desk back there to notify someone... nothing. So at this point I am a little annoyed especially when there was a lady back in the room behind the frames staring at me and didn't once ask me if I needed help with anything or even to call for some help. So, I went back up to the front and told the lady AGAIN I need to pick up an order and that no one was back there to assist me. She calls someone again (Didn't apologize for my wait I should add) and then I proceed to the back again and now everyone is back there to help -__- All in all I waited 15 mins to pick up an online order which should of been quick and easy.    Read moreThis was my first interaction with any Michaels store ever and this will definitely be my last after today. I placed an online order and selected curbside pick up. When I arrive to the store I had checked in through the email sent to me and selected my parking spot number. I waited 10 to 12 minutes with my child in the car in 90 degree weather. I called the store to see what was taking so long and a woman by the name Christina picked up the phone. Who I later found out is apparently the manager when my husband called back to speak with the manager about this interaction. I explained the issue and that Iâve been waiting in 90 degree with my child in the car and she hung up on me without saying anything. Not a word. I have no idea how she is a manager if that is how she treats customers. That is completely unprofessional. Maybe you need to step down and humble yourself.. as the customers you treat poorly are the ones that pay your salary.    Read moreI love Michaelâs! Always will, always have. Great for house decor and if you ever want to get super crafty for the holidays. It just kills me to rate it a star due to the employeeâs behavior. I made an online order (it was oversized). As we got there I went to the pick up area. Proceeded to press the red button nearby for assistance which I truly wanted to press it again because how red it was.
Nobody came which is understandable since it is around the holiday season so itâs usually busy during this time.
So I decided to reach out to a fellow employee, the young lady with blue highlights/dark hair is who I approached for answers and gave me a snark look like she did not want to help nor direct me to an area where I can get my questions answered. Did not give her a hard time, just spoke polite feedback on how to improve the storeâs experience for all diverse customers with pick up orders.
Again Michaelâs is a wonderful store. I do hope the manager hosts a meeting with all employees to improve behavior, creating clear directions for pick up for customers & organization for pick...
