We went to this location yesterday and waited in the drive-thru for about 45 minutes because the store was not open. The hot light was not on, but that's ok. We pre-ordered and pre-paid online. After the long wait, we got to the window and there was total chaos. I naturally assumed that because the store wasn't open for foot traffic, they were on a skeleton crew of 1-2 people. I counted at least 6 different individuals working yesterday (Saturday) around 4pm. They were basically wandering around and chatting, but not working towards fulfilling the orders.
They did not have the drink that was ordered, so we had to call an audible and get something entirely different. They did not have some of the donuts that were part of the Christmas collection that we ordered, so we had to try to sub those out which led to a lot of confusion. The nice lady that was helping us at the window kept saying "they don't have your drink", and "they don't have some of the donuts that you ordered." It perturbs me greatly when employees use "they" instead of "I" or "we." Take ownership of the countless problems that your location has, please.

Read morePlaced an order at the Gastonia location(drive through). Didn't open until I got home. When I opened the box, my order was incorrect. I didn't receive what I ordered & paid for; I ordered & paid for a dozen. I called & asked to speak to manager; he identified himself as William. I informed him that my order was incorrect, & I didn't realize it until arriving home. He said when I come back, ask for him, & I would receive my correct order for free. I informed him, I couldn't get back there that evening, but I would come back tomorrow, & he said that's fine, just ask for him(William), & he would be there. I guess William didn't realize that he did not end the call completely & hang up. I heard him having a conversation with someone, (guess it was an employee), stating that these are the kind of calls he get; people calling & complaining about their orders to try to get another free order. He implied that I was lying! Have been a customer there for many years, & this was the first time I had a problem with an order, so I called to inform management. In my opinion, it was very unprofessional for him to imply that a paying customer was lying about an incorrect order, & then to complain to another employee, & yes, I, the customer heard the entire conversation! Read moreThey have these Banana Pudding and Pie flavored donuts. My son reallllly wanted these for his birthday instead of a cake, especially the Banana ones. So we placed an online order 5 days in advance, paid for our donuts, got our order confirmation, only to drive the 25 minutes to get there this morning at our appointed pick-up time to be told -1st that they didn't have any of the assorted types of donuts we ordered, 2nd they had been too busy this morning to get much of anything made ( they had very little variety in the case), and finally maybe if I wanted to come back later in the day ( which was not possible because we were expecting people at our house in 2 hours for his party) they could figure something out. When I asked why someone couldn't have emailed us to let us know our order could not be filled was when I was told they had been too busy this morning, when I explained that I placed this order 5 days ago the response was how was they supposed to know 5 days ago what they would be out of this morning. No effort was made on the part of the staff to resolve this issue beyond the maybe if I wanted to try back later in the day.
