Three years later I am now third degree (Samdan) in Kukki taekwondo and studying advanced rank (brown belt) in Eugli Kwan Hapkido Mr Rosser has awarded me the title of BuSabeom (assistant instructor). My wife is now an I-Dan (2nd degree) in taekwondo and purple belt (as of today) in Eulgi Kwan. Hapkido
. Each class is fun, challenging and very informative. I am still astonished every session at Mr. Rosser's skill as a martial artist and how he can work with anyone, beginner to advanced, to help them excel in their own martial arts journey. Mr. Rosser offers a true education; in addition to the rapid progression of my martial skills I've also learned Korean language, culture, how to be the best version of me and how to push myself beyond my own limits. This is not a gym to "do some reps and be done" but a lifelong journey that I would highly recommend Rosser Sabeomnim helping you get started on. On a more serious note, I have actually had to use my training twice to defend myself in the real world, and thankfully both times came home safely.
Jeff is not only a phenomenal martial arts teacher but very skilled martial artist and top level competitor himself. I was lucky enough to meet Jeff in the mid 2000's training in karate and jujutsu with him, my skills increased rapidly. I have been training privately with Mr. Rosser since last September in Tae Kwon Do/Hapkido and am getting ready for my Il Dan evaluation in taekwondo. Stop thinking about starting with Mr. Rosser and start your journey as soon as possible, you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeāre so grateful to have found Mudo KMA!! My son and daughter have been taking KMA classes with Sabeomnim Rosser for almost 3 years (this review is overdue), the best testament is that they still love to go to every class! I have taken one self-defense class and canāt wait to take the next one! Mr. Rosser teaches an incredibly well balanced and efficient curriculum of traditional Korean Martial Arts (directly from S. Korea) and incorporates Taekwondo, Hapkido, Japanese Jujutsu, and Karate into the syllabus. My kids have done weapons and sparring classes and have both competed and medaled in multiple Taekwondo competitions! They've not only learned excellent technique but also discipline and humility. Mr. Rosser is also a gifted instructor, as good as any I've had in private and university classes; heās able to connect to all different kinds of students authentically and successfully. He runs a very professional yet down-to-earth dojang and there is a great community of people there, weāve made a lot of friends :) His assistants are awesome and truly love their art and the people they teach. Weāve been to several martial arts schools and Mudo KMA is by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and daughter both attend Mudo, and they LOVE IT. The instructor (Mr Rosser) is very patient and helpful, and Iām loving the confidence Iām seeing my 5 year old daughter build after each class. She used one of the blocking techniques she learned at Mudo to protect herself from one of her little brotherās wild hits! š My daughter has been in many different sports/activities, but this is the one where you get the bang for your buck. Sabonim is not there to babysit the kids. They work! My husband comes home happy to have had a great workout and energized enough to keep practicing. Cannot recommend Mudo enough! The discounts for additional members is also a nice plus, especially since two more boys will be joining once...
