I have no clue how this place has 4 stars. Atmosphere is decent, service is decent. Food is horrendous. Spaghetti tastes like it was either frozen or out of a can. Maybe both. Regardless, it wasn’t worth $13. Garlic bread is uncooked sliced bread doused in butter and with garlic salt (which they charge $6.95 for). Frozen garlic bread would’ve been more appetizing. When I go out with my partner I normally eat my entire plate plus finishing theirs. I couldn’t finish half my plate, my partner ordered the Alfredo and as expected it was also of poor taste. While there’s a handful of restaurants I’ve left with a bad taste in my mouth, this is the first one which has made me want to vomit. Please, don’t make the same mistake as me. Just go to Olive Garden.

Overall, I had a good experience. Our server was shy but attentive. He check on us multiple times and made sure we had enough to eat/drink. The appetizer we got was basically a hoagie bun covered in cheese. In the menu, it was called cheesy bread. So technically, it is that, but we were expecting something else. The salad was good. The pasta was decent but the tortilleni was a little over cooked. We also had to ask for a different marina sauce because the one they used automatically had meat in it. So there were definitely vegetarian options but you had to ask for substitutions.

Fresh and delicious food Awsome hand-made seasonings Traditional interior with enough light Nice and friendly staff Great parking space When I got here the first time, I was wondering why foods were so delicious here until the manager explained that food is being prepared daily. He showed me how they are making Alfredo sauce with butter and other ingredients every day or 2 And almost the same for all others. All I can say is that it was so šŸ˜‹ delicious

I would rather give 2.5 stars because they really are halfway between excellent and poor and it all seems to depend on which night you go. Friday is an excellent night to dine there or order out. Do not go any other night. (I think they must get their best staff and food deliveries Friday as well.) We eat there most Fridays (to-go). This past Friday, their ribeye steak was delicious. Cooked perfectly, as ordered. Last Friday- may have been the most delicious ribeye I have ever had. Today, Sunday- terrible. In fact, it was NOT a ribeye. I called when the food got back to the house and spoke with the lady up front and informed her I was given a sirloin instead. She checked with the owner (who was also the cook that night?? --which indicates one of 2 things- you can't afford help or your help keeps quitting and you have to fill in. Neither say great things about your business) and he was adamant apparently that it was, in fact, a ribeye.

I have eaten ribeye steaks my entire life and I've had the occasional sirloin. This was a sirloin, or at the very least, an extremely poor quality ribeye. It was super chewy, not tender, not as flavorful, and did not have marbling. It was cooked as ordered though. Maybe the vendor sold it to them as a ribeye? The vendor cheated them if so and something is wrong if they can't tell the difference. The worst part is they didn't want to make it right. That will influence our decision greatly on where to eat out multiple nights each week. Along with my steak, the pizza we ordered was not very good tonight, I was told. Also I will say, my daughter refuses to eat there. She says the food makes her sick, literally. We eat there on nights she is out, or we ate there on nights she was out. Perhaps maybe the owner should just stay out of the kitchen??

UPDATED as response to restaurant comment: I called there and the woman I spoke with did NOT offer to remake my food. I absolutely would have agreed. That is why I was calling! You are open to reviews and sometimes, if the service calls for it, you may have poor reviews. I believe I was more than fair. I did state that you had excellent food on some of the nights but when I called with a valid complaint and the woman I spoke with was rude, curt, and only said "the owner is in the kitchen tonight and he cooked that steak himself and he said it was a ribeye" (no mention if recooking the order or making the situation right,) I was more than disappointed.

Also, I gave you 3 stars. Some people, when angry and feel cheated out of their meal, would only give 1 star. I told your good points but also your bad and you are accusing me of slander? It makes it a whole other thing when you begin to throw out words such as that. Also, I have the phone call recorded. I record all my calls. I do NOT lie, which would definitely include slander, and I'd be happy to play the call to anyone who would like to listen. No one offered to recook my meal and that is pretty cheap to lie and say you did. Another point, I'm pretty sure several staff would know us by now as we had become regulars, even though we order take out most often, and that is terrible to treat any customer that way, but especially your regular customers. Of course we support locally owned businesses, but you have to earn good reviews and unfortunately, you fell short this time. I would suggest you have a conversation with the woman who answered the phone. If she said I declined you to remake the food, she lied. I have changed from 3 stars to 2 due to your response. You will have bad reviews. You have had bad reviews and instead of calling your customers liars, perhaps you should try to diffuse and correct...

We went to Milano Italian Restaurant on New Hope Road on Sunday, March 17th, 2019 for lunch. This is a place we used to frequent and I recommended it often to friends. However, after today, I will never recommend it to anyone again. The service was some of the worst that I have ever received anywhere! The wait staff seemed on edge. The environment was quite uncomfortable from the start. The first greeting we received from our waitress was ā€œI’m sorry. They told me it would be at least 15 more minutes.ā€ We later realized that she meant that we weren’t supposed to be seated until fifteen minutes later. We all let that go and eventually were waited on. We had to ask for refills on drinks because we were usually out throughout most of the meal. When we were almost ready to leave we realized that my husband never received the side that was supposed to come with his entree. I had ordered an extra order of fries so he had eaten them instead of the side he should have gotten. I asked the waitress if she would remove the extra side from my bill, since we didn’t actually get an extra side at all. She told me that she could not take it off because it was a part of the whole meal. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager on duty this day was the most unprofessional, rude, condescending person I have ever spoken to! She began pointing out items on our table and saying that we did get everything. Again, we did not so I told her that it needed to be removed. She then told us how anxious we (our group) had made them while they were serving our food to us. She said, ā€œwe brought the food out on several trays and all of you were asking for everything and it was very overwhelming.ā€ So in other words, it was our faults (the customers) that we didn’t not get our complete order. She then told me that the last time that we were asked if we had everything, that we had replied by saying yes we did, so it was our fault we didn’t get the side and that this is the reason the extra side could not be removed. She continued to mumble comments under her breath the entire time we paid for the meal. She continued to argue and make excuses. She was extremely unprofessional and incompetent. Then, the part that makes it completely unbelievable; as we were leaving, the manager accused us of hiding the baked potato in a chair...we didn’t have any empty chairs at our table. She said this out loud in front of other customers. She mumbled, ā€œshe found the baked potato in a chair.ā€ I said, ā€œwait, what? Are you trying to say we hid it now?ā€ She said, ā€œwell, she said it is there.ā€ Come on!! Really!!?? Anyone looking for a nice place to eat...this is NOT it. The manager needs A LOT of training before ever working in any type of customer service job. She told me to be sure and leave a google review, by the way. I can truly say that this visit was a ā€œone of a kind experienceā€ but definitely not in a good way. DO NOT GO THERE! The food has really gone down hill in the past few years and the service is obviously horrific. The quality of the food and service is very low. (Zero stars was...

I Eat at Milano’s like 3 times a month and Tonight I had a very BADDDDD experience! Tonight I ordered Chicken Parmesan FOR THE FIRST TIME! It was DISGUSTING!!! It's NOT fried and breaded, it's baked with literally no taste and the spaghetti was noodles with bland warmed up sauce on top! So I told my waitress there was No way I could eat that and could I get something else an she was like sure. So I said just bring me a ham and cheese sub sandwich because I always just get the lasagna and I just didn’t want that tonight! So she did an at that point I thought everything would be cool until I received the check!! The manager told her to charge me for the French bread and salad that came with the Chicken Parmesan THAT I CLEARLY Did NOT EAT. Still on the table and she seen that! Mind you I EAT there ALL the TIME! she told me that I didn’t send it back and I’m like but I didn’t eat you SEE that I didn’t touch it! Who eats French Bread with a salad with a Sub?????? The manager/owner caught a horrible ATTITUDE and was VERY RUDE and Disrespectful to me! I really couldn’t believe this was the same manger/owner was arguing with me like I’m not in there all the TIME! She made it look like I was trying to get over something! It took EVERYTHING in me not to knock her out! Really that’s how bad it got! I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE!!! I see why I always ordered lasagna because after reading all these reviews I see there’s nothing there that’s any good and all the people saying they had the same problem with this manager/owner when they had a problem with there food! I guess I expected more from her after me being such a good customer but...
