The store is always clean, but only offers a small selection of items since it is not a Supercenter. It doesn't have some departments the bigger stores have. There is no frozen food, bakery, or meat department. There is a small selection of food items, mainly staples like sugar, bread, milk, etc.. They have smaller selections in each department due to store size restraints. This location is good for grabbing common things you may need. They have an automotive department, but no tire and lube section outside. They offer pickup and delivery services like the supercenters. You can utilize scan and go with Walmart+. This has been offered at Sam's for awhile, and makes it super easy to scan your products as you go, and simply scan a barcode on checkout screen, bag your products, if necessary, and be on your way! The pharmacy at this location almost always has what you need in stock. The representatives are always friendly and helpful in the pharmacy, and get you in and out quickly. With the Walmart app, fining things is so much easier now, so I usually have very little interaction with employees...
Read moreThese folks wouldn’t know customer service/customer recovery if it slapped them in the face. Used the regular checkout instead of the self checkout for the FIRST time in AGES and instantly regretted it. Two of my items were not in my bags when I got home. My husband called the store and explained it to the woman who answered. She said to come to the store tomorrow before 4pm and there would be someone who could check the cameras, even with him willing to provide my receipt. He explained that we would both be working during that part of the day and wouldn’t be able to make it at that time. The items were only a total of $5.44 before tax so it’s not about the money. It’s the fact that the cashier made a mistake and in order to rectify that mistake I’d have to leave work early and ask someone to check the cameras. The cashier lady only handed me two bags and told me to have a good day, so I trusted all my stuff was there. I’m definitely never going to use the regular checkout ever again. I don’t trust that I’ll receive what I paid for unless I...
Read moreThe self-checkout was a terrible idea in this store. They only have the "cigarette" aisle open, and a bunch of self-checkout stations. Elderly and disabled people have to stand in a long line now, since they cannot use the self-serve option unless they are buying a couple of small items. It is obvious this is not a customer-centric decision, but a move to decrease the number of employees. They do have other normal registers they could open, but they never do anymore. It looks like the staff has been instructed to encourage self checkout. Since I have moderate back pain that requires me not to bend, stoop, or lift heavy items, I have no choice but to wait in the long line of the only register. I guess I'll be taking my money elsewhere unless I am buying just...
