Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Geneva

Came to town for father’s day and needed to pick up a few items, the appearance of the store is the same as I remembered years ago except the self check outs. Now I’m not one of those people who refuse to use them so we proceed to the self check out with probably 20 items at most in our cart. Here we stand for 20 minutes because if you don’t put EACH item on the bagging area then the computer does not let you proceed. Now I got 4 cases of drinks and a HUGE watermelon that I now have to put on the bagging side so that this stupid computer will let me move it back to my buggy so I can continue checking out. I’m visually frustrated at this point having to wait while this poor employee helps me and 3 other people at other self checkouts while I’m sure she is only being paid for one persons work.. it seems that Geneva wants to keep it’s town small but at least put in decent self checkouts and stop making one employee tend to 4 completely...

It got the nicest people you'll ever darn meet an all they have the best root n toot n fried chicken an pasta from all around will fill you up just 1bucket will feed a whole gang of them their youngsters best quality of meats,can good milk reasonable prices they employees are oh so helpful hiring from in school to grown all kinds of sweet people their one of the asst . managers that has the sweetest face an nice as can be she was so helpful friendly an will ring you up an have u rite on your way great service,an the best bag boys to take your grocery to your car an the cutest darn drink machine I've ever seen work well with the community donation blood bank an the bbq stand best bar b q all around an the fancy truck you just pull up park an pop a tarp and we're eating bbq guys,I can't believe it just such a lovely...

I wish the employees would wear masks correctly, not around their chins, or just over mouth. They are at least trying, though, and the cashier and bag boy were very nice when I requested they pull up their mask. They seem to be improving week by week, so I am pleased with that.
