I went to this store about a year ago to get a new phone for myself. I had already visited the Verizon stores in Enterprise and Dothan and would have bought a new phone from them but they do not set up your new phone for you. They were happy to provide instructions but said that did not have time to set up every new phone a customer purchases. I told these locations "if they kept this policy going that they would soon not have to worry about setting up ANY new phones for any customers". I was very disappointed with the lack of service I received. I was about to seek a new vendor for my wireless service after many years with Verizon. I drove to Geneva in a last ditch effort for a new phone. That turned out to be the best decision I have ever made concerning my cell phone needs. I was greeted with warm "Hello, how may we help you?" I explained my previous experiences with the corporate stores I mentioned earlier. Paige assured me that the Geneva location would assist me with my cell phone needs. She was/is a woman of her word! I purchased a new phone, she transferred my data, pictures, etc. I walked out of the store with a new functioning phone. I told her that day I will be back in the future to purchase a new phone for my wife and today was that day. The service and professionalism I experienced the first time wasn't a fluke. The employees at the Geneva location are remarkable. They are educated in the products they sell, they have a firm understanding of the technology and resources they provide to their customer base. I witnessed first hand on each visit there their willingness to help customers with simple issues to far more complex issues. Each person left the store satisfied and grateful for the service they received. I HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone in need of a new phone. This location restored my faith in the Verizon services and products. I told Paige I would advertise for the Geneva location to anyone I know in need of a new phone or wireless device. Stopped in because my new refurbished iPhone was getting SOS signal at every location once away from my house and no service. I suspected it was a transferred sim card issue. Had stopped by the Dothan Verizon store last week with the issue and after a long wait the assistant only give me the ruboff. Walked around with my phone, joked around with his colleagues, came back popped out my sim card, popped it back in and suggested I return my phone for another one. Informed me it was not compatible with Verizon although it was an unlocked phone and to take it up with the seller. Due to his lackluster attitude I dismissed his suggestion. I left the store. Once home I swapped Verizon sim cards, but was unable to activate the new ones. Also was unable to activate the internal sim card. Made a trip to the Geneva store for a more rural experience and without mentioning my prior unsuccessful visit to the Dothan store, the young lady had my phone's esim activated and verizon service working in a matter of minutes. She didn't want to help me with the order I had started and told me of things I had no way of doing to upgrade my iPhone. I was on desperate need of a phone and had I had my phone I would have walked out but instead because of my need I had to stay where this woman paired me with an android phone. An Android! My iPad and home computer are ios. Apple products! And she would not work with me in any way although I have been a contract customer for going on 9 years! I am stuck with a phone i hate and doesn't work with any of my other equipment. With the exception of thru Bluetooth only and what I can do is veru limited.
