Fix Devices Phone Computer and More (Georgetown, TX) — Local services in Georgetown

My husband and I have been to Best Buy, U Break I Fix and also another shop in Georgetown trying to get a replacement for what we thought was a Gorilla Glass phone screen and all 3 places said they could not help us because they didn't have the right equipment. We went to Fix Devices and the owner took one look at the phone and informed us that it was just a normal screen protector and just peeled it off easy as you please. 10 minutes later we were out the door after only paying $20. He could have told us different but he didn't, said he doesn't do people that way. Fix Devices will be our first stop from now on when it comes to fixing anything electronic. Also, for only $5 you can buy 2 phone lanyards or bracelets made by his daughter, so sweet he is helping...

I had 2 year old lenovo laptop (purchased at Costco) wouldnt charging the battery and doesnt turn on with power cable connected. Searched on google and found a lot of lenovo laptops are having similar issues… i was afraid that i have to send my laptop to lenovo and it will cost a lot of money to repair. While i was searching in local area, i found this guys who are specialized at micro soldering. I checked their website and looks like they do a pretty good job so I decided to drop off my laptop. Guys were super friendly and sent me a message with photos of broken part and next thing, the laptop was working without any problem. I really appreciate for the excellent service and when I have a problem again, I will definitely go back to this guys...

Brought my phone here for a screen replacement, it was working but had lines in it. When I got it back, it was good for a couple days but then started shutting down and restarting itself. I was traveling at the time, so I took it to another shop and they told me there was a ribbon cable that had been damaged during the screen replacement, they had to take out the battery and the motherboard in order to replace it. The repair was costly, much more than the original screen replacement, but I needed a working phone so I paid it. ...
