Dos Mangos Paleteria — Restaurant in Georgetown

I hate to say it but people always speak about how hard it is for spanish speakers to speak to people who only speak English but its the same the other way around! I can understand spanish fully but speaking it is not the best. I called to get the hours since a lot of companies now close earlier. When I did a man didnt understand and hung up on me, called back and a lady answers she tells me in Spanish she can't understand and I try saying it in English. She proceeds with trying to hang up on me but didnt hang up correctly. I then hear her laughing with her coworkers and degrading me because I could not speak proper spanish. Definitely not giving my business to someone who has those morals and probably does that to most of their customers. Sad work...

Small ice cream shop that also has various exotic Mexican inspired treats. Here you can indulge in your favorite ice cream creations like shakes, popcicles, sundaes, & banana splits. Very friendly/outgoing staff, a little language barrier but customer service is beyond expectations. My family enjoyed the phenomenal oreo milkshakes, coconut popcicles and mangonada. The elotes needed some help since it did taste a bit like canned corn, but was decent enough, rather than a trip to Central Austin. Unfortunately, the place wasn't open on Friday which is our usual "Ice Cream Day". Anyhow it's close for us in Liberty Hill Georgetown folk would rather not travel another 20...

I got a corn in a cup, which was so good, and the fresas con crema and nuez were amazing!!!! Delicious!! The place was a little dirty; the tables, the floor, and the windows. But I definitely will visit again. It is worth it!.

Updated review...today my family received very bad customer service that made us feel so bad with the person we invited to try their food. The person who attended us look at my invited up and down, and didn't want to take the order. I don't think I will be back, because my whole family felt so bad for the person who was...
