Let me start with the place is clean and everyone was very nice when I arrived. I had an appointment to cut and color. I had hair that was very long and faded from sun. I asked for about 4 inches to be cut. She cut 6 and later cut more☹️. I had asked for a layering effect but not one layer just inches removed. I asked for a natural red similar to my daughter's and to be fair it's more copper than red. She showed me swatches and I chose the copper color. Well.....I don't know what I did to upset her but I left with 7-8 inches gone and a color that Ronald McDonald would be jealous of. Not a natural color at all. I cryed all day when I got home. I’ve been going to Northern Roots since 2020 and I will never go to another hair salon. Since 2020, I moved to CA and now Germany, and I fly back to get my hair done by Leah. Leah, Paige, and Maryanne also did my wedding hair/makeup and WOW. Everything about it was so beautiful! They did a fantastic job.

Leah is SO talented (like every stylist/esthetician there), and I have NEVER gotten a hair cut or color that I am not in love with. She helped me restructure my hair routine and has always been honest with me. Plus, the prices are SO reasonable!!! I will not go anywhere else. Paige did hair for me, my 3 bridesmaids, MoB, MoG, and my grandmother for my wedding this September. I couldn’t be happier with the way everyone’s hair turned out. My trial was great and we were able to play around with a few variations on a half-up style. We took pictures of each one to compare and to reference on the day. My hair was perfect and Paige made sure my veil got placed and pinned appropriately so it stayed in place for the ceremony and pictures. The up-dos for my bridesmaids were flawless and my mom, mother-in-law, and grandmother all felt and looked their best.
