Nothing negative here!
Service was quick. Staff friendly and attentive.
Food was amazing! I was weary a "pub" having sushi wouldn't be a good thing but I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, the sushi (i got the king tuna i think) is better than most sushi places. I wiped the plate clean. I also tried the salt and pepper wings with Chipotle bbq and the wings were crispy and juicy. Again, better than most wing places! My son is obsessed with truffle fries and they were a bit soggy (for my liking) but he ate most of the order, and they give you alot! He got cranky before I could order dessert so we had to leave but I would have loved to try the key lime! Definitely a place i would come back to when in the area (I'm about 30 min away). Highly recommend!! Please try the sushi if you're on the fence about it not being a sushi place, you will not regret it! I also planned on trying the Thai Salmon entree but was so full (lunch). It will be what I order when I eventually get to return, which i hope...
Read moreI very rarely post reviews but felt I had to after our experience. Last night was the first time visiting The Spot. I had ordered “The Spot Reuben” and “Philly Cheesesteak” for takeout. When I got home both my husband and I were surprised at the size of the sandwiches. They were small in size but were priced very high. The Rueben was $15.00 and the Philly Cheesesteak was $14.00. On top of that, the few pieces of corned beef that were in the sandwich were riddled with muscle and fat. All of them inedible. If we had actually sat in the restaurant and received the meal in that condition, it would’ve been immediately returned. Probably one of the worse sandwiches I’ve ever had. The only saving grace to our meal were the few fries that were included in the meal. Although heavily salted, they appeared to be fresh rather than frozen. I definitely do not recommend this high-priced, low-quality food...
Read moreThis was my first time ordering from The Spot—and it will definitely be my last. The food was a huge letdown across the board. The chicken fingers looked nothing like the pictures online. Instead of what was shown, we got greasy, tiny strips that tasted awful. Also the “ranch” I got on the side was green. I have never seen green ranch dressing in my life. The bang bang cauliflower? Just as bad—drenched in oil and totally unappetizing.
We also tried a few sushi rolls, and while they were the most tolerable part of the meal, the portions were disappointingly small. The "crab" on top of the King Tani roll tasted extremely fishy and off.
If you're considering ordering from here, do not trust the food photos. They are completely misleading. I won’t be recommending The Spot to anyone I know. Save your money and try literally...
