I placed an order at 531 for delivery and was told 1 hour via the slice app. I called after an hour and a half just confirming where my order was and I was told it’s “on its way”. I was prepared to go pick it up at this point. I waited another 25 min, still had not received my order and spoke with a woman who stated it was on its way and should be there in 10 min. At 740 I finally reached out to slice because my food was expected at 630, my delivery was over an hour late and Slice rep contacted the shop and was told once again it’s out for delivery. I contacted the shop and spoke with the owner who was rude and raised his voice, took zero responsibility for me being told multiple times over the course of 2.5 hours my food was out for delivery. I was finally able to get my order cancelled after 3 hours of waiting.
I understand being short staffed, and super busy but to be rude when I had been calling for over and hour and a half is unacceptable. Especially where I was prepared to come get my order.
This isn’t the first issue I have had with Nicolini, my last 2 orders had hair in them. The first time I found a long black hair in a sub I called and notified them and the second time was in a salad, I didn’t even bother calling because I said I wouldn’t go back again. Read moreI ordered for pick up service and found the woman that took my order, very rude and didn't want to take my debit card over the phone and said that we could pay for the order, when we picked it up! I found that unreasonable bc I wanted to pay for the order and my husband was picking it up! He doesn't have the same debit card as I do and he always ends up paying unless I prepay when I order! I asked the woman why I couldn't prepay and she said I could but it would be EASIER for her bc they were REALLY BUSY prepping for a busy night! (On a Monday) They should have been happy to have our business and to accept our payment, in whatever fashion we wanted! So, she took my card # and I asked her if she wanted my hubby's name for the order and she NO, that he will just have to tell them what the order included, so I had to call him back and hope that he remembered what I told him (which included 5 different toppings on a pizza and another pizza, with 2 toppings! Unacceptable! Oh, then she hung up on me, without saying goodbye or how long it would take to be ready for pickup! Needless to say, I wasn't happy! The large pizza was great, cooked perfectly but the small one was way overdone, almost burnt on the top...
Read moreMy husband and I have been ordering from Niccolini for years. Last night I got a Greek wrap and my husband got a steak tip wrap. We also got a side of french fries and chicken wings. This was the best Greek wrap I’ve ever had. It was loaded with fresh feta cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and Romain lettuce. There was a decent amount of onions, but not too overpowering. I also really love their Greek dressing and the option for a wheat wrap. My husband‘s steak tip wrap was fantastic as well. They have the best french fries and their chicken wings are more of a wingding style, which we really love. Always crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy in the middle. Delivery usually comes before the estimated time and the drivers are always friendly and smiling. I really love that they have a new app and that you can earn rewards points. I also received an email for a discount when using the app for the first time which was a really nice touch.
