If it were possible to leave no stars, I definitely would. I have never met a group of leasing agents and property managers so uncaring about someone's health concerns other than this particular property. They aren't transparent about any part of the leasing or placement process. Throughout the whole process, they've sent me so many different leases, a ten-page one, a 61 page one, and a 43 page one. Yet they don't know which one is supposed to stand. They act as though they are doing you a favor if you move in early and that you should accept whatever they are giving you regardless of the condition of the property. They don't prorate the rent AT ALL but they will attempt to prorate the rent if you deem something is unfit for you to live in. EVERYONE should have the right to be able to live and operate in an area in which they are PAYING for. I'm currently living out of a hotel because I thought I would have a safe place to move into but I thought wrong. I paid a full months rent and never even stayed one night in the unit. They don't mind that they could potentially be displacing a student with nowhere to go. Advice to everyone considering The Betty: Don't rent an apartment here, you'll thank me later. Advice for management: Listen to the residents and potential residents about their concerns.

Truly disappointed! They never fix anything, and if they “do” it breaks again instantly. Dryer never works properly and have to go elsewhere, sink is broken, we were without a fridge for two weeks because it broke. Microwave broke, one burner on the stove has never worked, garage didn’t work for a month, tv cable issue they were supposed to fix since September, it’s now January. Water damage never taken care of, we have been paying for a place that is not in the condition as presented and we could have gone for a cheaper place but chose this one thinking it had ALL the things working and in fair condition at least, but they are taking advantage of young college women. Beware

I suggest to leave this garbage dump immediately and not pay them a penny. Absolutely horrendous, why would you takeout a perfectly good office and not hire more people when you bought an entirely new building.

The place treats The Betty residents like garbage. They are #2 on the priority list and #1 is Blake residents still get horrible service. There’s MOLD in the bathrooms.

Some lady that worked there had the audacity to say that she sees us as her own children. I was like lady I’m an adult and I have a mother. You would honestly let your child stay at this place? I’m a student you aren’t going to take advtantage of my cause I already pay the school a lot of money.

The students that work at the Blake try very hard. There isn’t much they can do and the manager don’t do anything besides call you back only when they want money.

Did anyone that was involved in this go to business school? Are you okay? Do you need...

Very greedy and money hungry management. Be sure if you stay here to take good photos of the PRIOR damage because they will try to charge you for damages that were there before your move in. Watch maintenance when they are in your apartment because they will do a mediocre job and put you and your space at risk. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying if you expect good management. Anytime they text/email about coming by they dont, and leave vague wide open dates and times. They have workers that are uninformed and send you on goose chases trying to figure out what to do. Move in day was delayed due to 'cleaning' and when we moved in everybody else had been there and the place was a mess. The previous tenant also left junk in the hallway/room. Now we're being charged $125 to repaint a room that was damaged before we got there. There's much more I could say but just do your research and read...
