I am LITERALLY looking at the website on Bing as I type this review. My son went there--25 miles each way--to buy some Chinese herbal pills this evening. According to Bing, THEY CLOSE AT 10 PM. I called earlier in the day to confirm that they had the capsules. They did. I commented that "my son would be sure to arrive before 10 PM tonight." At NO TIME did anyone tell me that they close at 9. My son arrived at 9:02 PM--literally. He called me and told me that the store is closed. I called the store and an EXTREMELY unhelpful man answered who a) could not care less that my son wasted a 50 mile round trip b) my dog has a nose that is bleeding and he needs the capsules and c) that online listed the hours until 10 PM. When I asked if he was prepared to take a negative review due to his INCREDIBLE lack of desire to help and honor the posted hours, he told me he didn't care. I asked for his name so that I could ID him by name and he refused to tell me. I asked if he was refusing to give me his name and he said yes, that was correct--he was refusing to give it to me. I am posting this on Google, Yelp, the corporate page AND their FB page and, hell, I might even tweet about it, too. There is ZERO reason why this man could not have helped; he just wanted...
Read moreMy whole had been shopping here for many years. Currently, we rarely go there because of the way we were treated. There had been a very rude reception recently that just happened this 2025 with the customer service representative that was so hysterical that she couldn't contain her composure because she had a younger guy come out to translate everything she said. It was so unnecessary to talk to us that way. There was a glutinous flour that was on sale that we followed 2 get and we were overcharged for the sale prices items. I asked my brother to go there to get the overcharged cost and a lady was very hysterical and insisted that it was not on sale at all and did not bother to listen and show my brother that they have. My brother showed me when he got home and I said it was incomplete. There was a missing page which shows the sale price. The customer service representative was very tense and kept yelling out that there was no sale price. They gave us incomplete advertised items to make sure we could not point out the items on sale. We just let it go and not kill ourselves just for the mere $13 overcharged. Just misleading when it comes to their ads they are not...
Read moreI mainly come here to buy produce. Prices are cheap, but quality and freshness varies depending on the type of produce and the week. The quality of veggies is more consistent (and also better) than the fruit. The service is average of an Asian supermarket. If you're one of those people who likes to compare prices of similar products on the shelves, be aware that the per unit price on the labels vary between gram, ounce, and pound (usually on the same shelf). I like 99 Ranch better.
They never turn on the heat, so beware if shopping in winter. Also, they had a problem with the sprinklers in late January. When I arrived at the store, the sprinkler right in front of the entrance was leaking. About 5 minutes later, it started spewing water everywhere and the fire alarm went off. Luckily, no one was in the vicinity, only that sprinkler went off, and the big emergency exit doors were right there to let the water out. Still, it probably wouldn't have happened if they had turned on the heat regularly. It was freezing outside, so the water was turning into ice. There were two fire trucks...
