Waited a couple months to let myself simmer down prior to writing this: I truly wanted to leave a glowing review, but unfortunately my experience was a major disappointment on what should have been one of the most important days of my life. I had booked and prepaid for wedding makeup, confirmed well in advance, with the understanding that an artist would come to my home. Sadly, no one showed up at the scheduled time. I only found out there was an issue when I reached out myself, after waiting.

To try to make it right, the owner and her daughter came in place of the original artist, and I was fully refunded. While I appreciate their effort and generosity in refusing further payment, the delay caused me to be late to my own wedding event. I was so rushed and flustered that I forgot details like my jewelry, and I didn’t have time for the airbrush application I had originally booked.

They did their best under the circumstances, and even helped with my best friend’s makeup, but the situation created a huge amount of stress on a day that was supposed to be joyful.

While I’m grateful for the refund and the attempt to salvage the situation, I would caution other brides to be very clear on reliability and communication before booking. For me, the experience was a heartbreaking letdown on a day that...

My bridesmaids, mother, and mother in-law came to the salon on my wedding day (10/17/20) for our wedding hair and makeup. We had such an amazing time with Lou Ann, Ashley, Kylieh, and staff! All of our expectations for hair and makeup were surpassed and we all felt so beautiful for the wedding. They did a great job listening to each client's personal preferences and adjusting to fit what they wanted. I was also extremely pleased with how seriously they look COVID precautions. I had some higher risk individuals in my party and they had plastic dividers at the hair stations, freshly cleaned makeup brushes, lots of hand sanitizer, and they even performed temperature checks. It was so very much appreciated! As the bride, I felt like the most beautiful version of myself and I can't wait for professional pictures. Lou Ann did my hair and she executed my vision perfectly even when I changed it from the trial updo I had! I was lucky enough to book a balayage appointment with Ashley as a new client. I arrived 10 minutes early and Ashley already had a happy client in her chair to which she was applying the finishing touches to a creative color! Ashley smiled big and greeted me, introduced herself and was early for my appointment! Our consultation was lovely, she listened and provided thoughtful feed back about colors and tones. Ashley was also kind enough to squeeze in a trim at the end of our appointment that I did not schedule in advance, and I had a time commitment!
