Barren County Family YMCA — Local services in Glasgow

I will never understand how the Barren Cty YMCA a place that calls themselves a Christian organization will tell lies mistreat people play manipulative games make up false accusations cal and then call the police on anyone that's just ridiculous time and time again I tried to support this very ethically racist organization and they have proven what they are all about. The energy they put into being unfair with people they should be putting into making this place a better place for people of all colors and not acting like this place is only a place for them time and time again I have been told that this is their m/o. They should be using that energy to provide clean sanitary unbiased facilities instead the facilities are nasty have dried shampoo on the floor for weeks hair in the drains poop on the counters and urine on the floors and when you begin to question people's roles then there are attitudes and unfair treatment. And then have it said to you that if you don't like the facilities don't come ...I shouldn't have to stop coming to a place I have worked and volunteered at all around the Midwest .they will not say that we will work on it not that we will try to make it better not that we will look into your concerns ...no they never say that they make up lies to ban you from coming because they want to keep it exclusive and keep people who continue to question their unfair policies and their lack of responsibility and account from gracing their doors. Honestly really nice place the pool is fun but the staff are complete jerks. Had a man that kept coming into the pool room with us yelling at us for every little thing we did. First it was cause me and my boyfriend were splashing each other (not roughly just small splashes) we were the only ones in the pool at that time then when it started to get crowded we moved to the other side of the pool away from everyone and started talking about what we're gonna do after we leave then the man comes back and yells at us for "pda" and we talked to someone about it and guess what the problem was? Cause we were close to each other whispering. It's like they want us to be apart and scream to each other. They treat the place like a school it's annoying nowhere in the rules it says you can't be beside someone. Honestly the dude was just a sad old man who hates kids I think he shouldn't even have that job he's just complaining for no reason even when the actual life guard on duty was saying we didn't do anything wrong. The life guard on duty was amazing she was so sweet but the man and the manger were complete jerks. Will not be coming back rather just go to beech bend and get...

$46 a month for a family plan and yet they want $20 to go swim on a Saturday for a child to be supervised by one parent. What kind of idiot determined that price? Why would any sane parent pay $10 for a child to swim and $10 for a parent to observe from the bleachers for one day when the entire month is only $46 for both parents and multiple kids. Their director should be fired for setting dumb prices. At $46 a month, one day of use is less than $2. A fairer and more reasonable price would be $5 a person swimming. That would be more than double their cost of actual daily membership... $10 a person is more than 5x the cost of daily membership and with a parent forced to pay to sit there more than 10x the cost of just getting a membership. Someone setting prices has zero math skills and zero marketing analysis skills... not to mention, the ymca is supposed to be not-for-profit.... and for the community enrichment... guess they...
