Warhammer — Local services in Glenn Dale

I'm new to "the hobby" and had a great first visit to the Fairwood Green store. Zack was extremely helpful and genuinely seemed more interested in getting to know me a little bit instead of just making a sale, up-selling me, or not giving me a chance to browse. I generally don't have an interest in much conversation at a store, but Zack was personable, as opposed to just trying to make a sale. He also gave me plenty of time to browse in peace. When I had a question he was ready to help, and he also gave me a good run down of upcoming sales and events without interrupting my browsing time. It's not a huge store so having some time to look on my own was nice. He even saved me a few bucks when I picked up a pot of airbrush paint and double checked if that's what I wanted instead of the regular base paint. I definitely don't have an airbrush yet. Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting...

Always a great experience coming to this store. Zack's always super helpful and friendly; genuinely knows his stuff about the hobby and is always ready to offer good advice about painting or conversions; goes the extra mile when I need a specific kit or model; offers suggestions on how to get what I need if he doesn't have it (which is rare)... just an all-around great guy and place. Really good to know that my local is such a great example of what Warhammer...

2018 or so: While I preferred the size and location of the previous store, Kevin has always been polite & professional, with a sense of humor and generous advice on painting & army construction. I rather enjoy going there to hang out and listen to folks play, build & talk. 2021 update: Zack has done a marvelous job in building up the player base, promoting the game and keeping things alive throughout the pandemic....
