Silvestre Chicken — Restaurant in Maryland

I normally love this place but was highly disappointed when I ordered the chicken breast tacos and plantains. I noticed my bag was kinda heavy and once I got to my car I realized it was so heavy because of all the damn oil that was in the plantain container. It was so much oil it was dripping out of the container. Did they lose their damn strainer? I could've gone home and fried something with all that oil. When I went back in they didnt even apologize they just said it was because the plantains were ripe. My chicken taco tasted ok, but it seemed like they may have undercooked their chicken or something because the texture was weird but I was already home by that time. I most likely wont be coming to this...

After church today, we ordered food for the family and had an amazing meal. We got the whole chicken, red snapper, rice, plantains, and mixed vegetables, along with hibiscus, tamarind, and horchata drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious—perfect for a relaxing Sunday afternoon with our family of six. Not only was there plenty of food for everyone, but the value was incredible, with our entire meal coming in at under $100.

I'm an out of towner...first I stumbled across the food store, having to take my child on a college tour. The name of the store, "CHICKEN," stood out...we were hungry, so we thought let's give it a try. Food, to my surprise, was very good. My family agreed that if ever back in the area, we would return.
