I hate to rate this so poorly but the experience I had here today was really unfortunate and I need to share it.

There were very few flowers in stock when I walked in today so I was expecting that they wouldn’t have what I wanted. I asked the front end employee (who was extremely friendly and very nice) if they had a dozen red roses. She said she wasn’t sure and called to the back “do we have a dozen red roses?”

The employee in the back (who I never saw) replied “uhhh… yeah…” to which the front end employee looked at me and jokingly said “that doesn’t sound too reassuring.”

Then the employee in the back counted out loud “9…10…11…12” as if she was counting the roses.

The bouquet is gorgeous and the roses smell amazing but when I got home, I realized there were only 11 flowers in the vase. My boyfriend also counted because I thought maybe I was missing one.

After the dramatics of counting them out from the back, this feels somewhat intentional; as if they knew they only had 11 roses left and just thought I wouldn’t notice.

I would have happily paid for 11 gorgeous roses. But $80 for what seems to have been a purposeful lie is really upsetting.

This florist is wonderful...they have become my go-to florist. The arrangements are gorgeous and they are convenient to my house. They offer a wide variety of styles and colors...but I recommend them only for delivery. See later in the review for the reason. There are two reasons I gave them a four: first, they are pricey. If I order from Teleflora I can get many of the same arrangements for 20 - 25% less. I would expect them to offer lower prices on those arrangements to incent you not to use Teleflora. I would overlook that if...and here's the second reason...they were friendly and welcoming. They are not. Every time I have gone in to the store as opposed to having delivery, they seem eager to get me out. They don't smile and they aren't welcoming. You would think this doesn't matter, but when you're all excited and plunking down $60 to $100 for a fabulous arrangement, it does. So: gorgeous flowers, have...

You would be wise not to pass by this eloquent yet humble family establishment. I called ahead having no idea what I was looking are asking for except that I wanted the perfect single stem offering for a first date. I was given different choices of unique and exotic potential flowers, and then surprised by the last minute addition of a flower yet to be sold to anyone else as it had just been selected that morning by the owner. I felt like i made all the decisions yet guided by experts. They were quick, the single stem bouquet was a PERFECT success, and in the future I won't hesitate to use them for any and all floral needs (not to mention every recommendation in between).
