Family Dollar — Local services in Glenns Ferry

Horrid experence, let me tell you about it.

So I had some money I had 5 dollars, hoping to get a roblox card, I was like 12 at the time. Me and my father went in to check for some cards, they had at some but they costed 10 dollars, so we left because that was the point of the trip but I couldn't afforid it, mind you we go to this store regularly never had any problems since we shop there normally. Then once we came back, what I assume was the owner, a very old lady game up to us with an imensely rude attutide, "I KNOW YOU STOLE SOME MEDICINE, I CAUGHT IT ON THE CAMERA'S, A WOMAN TOLD ME," She was so rude and said this out loud once we came in. We were upmost confused, on being accused, we weren't even by the drug section??? So disgusting on how we were treated considering we were loyal customers and suddenly accused of such things, never going...

I called the store to ask about supplies my elderly father is in need of. I was lucky enough to speak to the manager Mary. She was incredibly friendly, kind & informative. She gave me an extremely positive customer service experience despite the stress & chaos she must be dealing with from this virus, the shortage of supplies & the many grouchy even rude people I could hear in the back ground. She also had an excellent attitude and I could practically hear her smiling over the phone. That was by far the best customer service I've had in years & that was only on the phone. I look forward to shopping in the store & meeting her in person. Thank you Mary for your superb customer service! I hope Family Dollar knows what a great employee/manager you are and offers raises, benefits & bonuses...

I would give five stars for Family Dollar, as I find what I need (in a pinch). The missing star is only because I would like them to donate to domestic shelters (battered women, abandoned children, and animals). Instead they cut clothes and throw them away, when it could help a child with school clothes and home...
