GameStop Military — Local services in Gloucester Point

Assisting Scalpers:

Today, I got an email from GameStop, stating they had more Pokemon Prismatic Evolutions Cards today. If you’re aware, scalpers have been buying these left and right, and selling them for 3x to 4x the store price and getting away with it.

When I called to double check, the female employee on the phone interrupted me and told me she sold their entire restock today to three customers that came in. She said every other store did something similar and there aren’t anymore.

Scalpers are a major issue but at this point GameStop is equally to blame. They fuel the fire and make it so nobody can enjoy the card game like they should. It wouldn’t surprise me if their employees tipped off scalpers to get a cut. I won’t be back, and...

Unlike other peoples experiences I work next door to gamestop currently and I walk into gamestop about everyday to say hi, and occassionally pre-order or buy games, I've never seen them take advantage of anyone, they do their best to be sure that people walk out happy with what they bought, and even at times tell customers they've heard the games aren't the greatest, I've never heard a single customer complain...

I have been stationed at Fort Eustis for the past 2 years now. The GamesStop here on post is excellent. There are two in the local mall however; their service isn't as great as the one on post. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this store to anyone....
