As I went in, there was an employee taking a break outside. When I went in, there was a long line. So I took a break and made a call. When I returned there was 1 employee working very hard. She was a blond haired lady. The other 2 employees were chatting to the side, not helping her. I went to the register, and those employees ignored me and kept chatting. A line formed behind me. The blond lady asked them a couple of times to help before they relunctly started working again. I ordered a sandwich and a drink. It said 10% discount with Star Card, but they did not give me the discount. I sat down and waited. The blond lady then asked if I ordered a drink. She said they didn't ring it up, but she overheard me order it, so she made it. I was impressed that despite working so hard, she remembered my order. But disappointed the lady who rang me up did not even listen. They had to dig up my order in the system and find my receipt. It took some time. So I paid again and again no discount. I went to the table. The tables were dirty. I took out my sandwich and it was the wrong sandwich. By this time, I was too tired and did not have time. I just threw it away. A disappointing experience. I gave 2 stars because there was one hard-working employee. The blond lady. She deserves a raise. I feel if they just had 1 or 2 more employees who cared and would work, then this would be...
Read moreWhy Christina the old manager should come back?
The new manager Jessica is making me feel I am in a hostile environment. She is discriminating her employees. She told me I can get limited refills, which is evil because I am a gold member. She criticized her employees for giving me unlimited refills. Every time she tells me somethings about new policies, I become furious as St. Helen volcano. She makes every employee feel uncomfortable.
Christina and the employees make feel like I am part of the family. I have been coming to Starbucks for three years after school to study and do my homework. The employees make feel comfortable and welcomed, but Jessica always have a way to make me dehydrated. When Christina was the manger in 2017 and 2018, she made me feel happy and I am in a magnificent atmosphere until 2019. She will not let Gold Members get unlimited refills and Starbucks Policies stated that Gold status has the rights to have unlimited refills. Jessica is a rude nincompoop and doesn't support her employees and make her customers feel depressed. Like this comment if you think there should be a...
Read moreI work at Ft. Eustis Army base in Newport News, VA. I usually swing by the Starbucks on post to grab a tea that formally goes by the name Medicine Ball. Within the past month an employee there told me the correct name of the tea. But being as though I've been calling it Medicine ball for about 8 months now(I just started going to Starbucks so I'm new to this) and with my PTSD I tend to forget it or mess it up and no one knows what I'm talking about. So to save myself from embarrassment sometimes I'll say Medicine Ball.
Well this morning I said it and the employee with curly hair loudly says to her coworker "Its not called that and they know it's not supposed to be called that!" I was immediately agitated because it's not even that serious to be that rude at 7:57 in the morning. It was uncalled for and unprofessional. Clearly there wasn't a manager around because I wanted to correct that situation right on the spot.
I get and understand why the name has to be referred to a certain way but people forget especially those like myself that already have trouble...
