Curry County Fairgrounds — Local services in Gold Beach

When I went there the fair wasn’t going on. It was a parking lot type deal with bathrooms in the middle they were a little scary. But my girlfriend and I were traveling from Northern California just checking places out and we slept there for the night. Met this nice guy who had a unique pet a turkey. He said he was camping in some woods and this turkey was just around an kept following him everywhere he went and when he packed up to leave the big turkey just stood there he got in his vehicle and started to go an the turkey was following him. He stopped got out let the turkey in the car and they been together ever since. I felt that jiggly colored thing on the turkeys neck an it was soft and not creepy at all. went there to provide emergency medical services, so very helpful in every way form swift providing of passes to a staff radio to keep a ear on what was going on and where, they run a good show, and it was fun..lots of things to see and do, the fair food was pretty good and the worst thing was some skinned knees and palms, just some band aids...fun time, do this every year except this one,...
