Turnpike Shopping Center — Local services in Goleta

My sister, a resident in Delray Beach was having an upcoming birthday. What to get her? I’m on the west coast and unfortunately this year getting together wasn’t happening. She loves a glass of wine so I checked out the local store websites and stopped when I got to Vons Ohwow, they customize gift baskets and look at all those wonderful tasty treats. That’s it, that’s what I’ll get for my sister, a gift basket with a bottle of her favorite vino. I called Vons and OMG I got a real live person to answer the phone. The rep from Vons told me her name was Michelle and she would be glad to help. Well, help she did. She was so friendly and knowledgeable I felt like I knew her my whole life. If she was out of a particular item, she suggested another personal favorite. How wonderful is that? I explained to her that I wanted the basket to be on a pink theme and “girlie” and boy she got the message loud and clear. Michelle, you came through with every detail and didn’t miss a beat in everything I asked you to do. My sister received her basket without a single problem this morning and it was a big birthday surprise. When she called me to thank me she was crying. I guess you could say your hard work was very well received. Thanks so much for going above and beyond...

Vons. I'd give it 6 stars if they had more people working the DELIE. The DELIE is FANTASTIC... So much so that lots of folks love it as well... Creating long lines at the DELIE. With only 2 people, (if your lucky) working the crowd. But even so it's still worth the wait... On top of that the fresh bread is totally AWSOME. Best in town by FAR!!! SO if Vons hires a few more for the DELIE I'd certainly give whole store 6 stars hands down. Take my word for it. Ohhh and the folks who work there are wonderful and naturally friendly...not because their told to be that way but because they just are.. .6 stars...

I went to Vons at the turnpike Shopping Center I like Vons at this Shopping Center because it's easy to park has accessibility to the handicapped and they have a lot of good deals specially their Fab 5's . Today was a very special day because I seen something at the shopping center that I never seen before and that was a lone mallard duck all by himself or herself I should have taken a picture. Very friendly. Indeed. I hope everyone's cautious of him or her and don't run over...
