There are so many amazing gardens and nurseries in this are but THIS ONE takes the cake! Usually wholesale nurseries can be overwhelming because there is a feeling of ; if you don’t know exactly what you want or you ask questions they typically are annoyed. Not here, this feels like a friendly , family run operation by people who are happy to share their expertise. I was lucky enough to speak at length with the owner about begonias (and their fascinating history in SB) and ornamental grasses. Randy, the owner, is so passionate and knowledgeable and happy to share a conversation about the plants. This is rare. He also helped figure out a mystery muhlenbergia grass and went so far as to emailing me photos and asking another “ornamental grass” expert on my behalf. His knowledge , passion, stories, history and love for these plants is remarkable. There are more plants and varieties than you can imagine as far as the eye can see. I love riding the carts and have made multiple videos and dozens of pictures showcasing the nursery and beautiful plants. As a landscaper it is joy to ride around for inspiration for my landscape jobs. Sometimes I just enjoy watching the bees, butterflies and humming birds! I'm guilty! I walk in, grab a list to write down all the plants names, sizes and quantity for the plants I purchase. They hand me the keys to the electric cart and I'm off. I ride around feeling like a little boy in Disneyland! They always have every plant I need and many I've never seen before....
