Went in for alcohol got id & cashier Julie who claimed she’s a manager rudely yelled “it’s fake” without even examining the ID for a minute or double checking with her coworkers.She yelled it’s fake because she seen a “star”on it.I have a Texas ID there’s a faint star on it bc that’s one detail Texas does to their id to verify it’s real. she said “ well ppl make mistake “ no not mistake where they’re accusing a customer of having a fake ID. If she felt uncomfortable with the sell she should have declined it or got a real manager. She clearly needs more training or maybe y’all should invest in a ID SCANNER! We wanted to make a complaint about her so she called Brody he listen to our complaint about her & was even willing to learn how to read a Texas ID. Hopefully she learns to be more professional her service was horrible. Y’all will lose clientele with a worker like that and hopefully y’all could get the equipment that’s much needed at this location to verify IDs to avoid...
Read moreI first visited Alexander’s several weeks ago when a friend and I were in a rush for lunch. I was amazed by the large selection in a relatively small layout. The ready food item selection is amazing. I had a delicious sushi selection for lunch and was quite impressed.
I was back in the area yesterday and looked to get a better look at the liquor selection. Unfortunately, I was unable to get to Alexander’s before 8:50 and thought I would get a rather chilly welcome coming in 10 minutes before close. I was resolved to grab a good bottle of whiskey and get out of their way. To my surprise I got a warm welcome, a tour of their expansive whiskey selection, an explanation of their “barrel selection”, and an invitation to come back for a longer visit.

Read moreI was very excited to visit your store, as I had heard wonderful things and was especially pleased to have one so close to my workplace. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.
From the moment I arrived, I felt as though I was being profiled. A staff member followed me from the parking lot into the store and continued to follow me throughout my visit. This behavior was disheartening, as I was simply there to shop like any other customer.
Since that experience, I have returned only a few times, limiting myself to the deli, but I no longer feel comfortable browsing the rest of the store. I hope you will take this matter seriously, as no customer should feel unwelcome...
