Alamance Farmers' Mutual Insurance Company — Local services in Graham

This is the worst insurance company I've ever seen. I've had a roof leak where the ridge vent came off and rolled up like a snake with mess up gutters, wall damages, etc. from Hurricane Florence and Michael where they send an outsource adjuster to come out and do an estimate for water damaged for my house.

The adjuster turned in all the paperwork to AFM where AFM send me money to cover the ridge vent, and gutters to be repaired, and not but $100 dollars for the damaged walls. They said "just paint over the existing water damaged." Well the water damaged is about 10 feet x 17 feet and the wall and the ceiling is coming apart. With that being said, they only contacted me one time by email. Thanks for your consideration, but perhaps we will look for an alternative...

I contacted my insurance company due to kitchen floor moisture damage , I found that we had a leak from the table top water Heater and a leak under the dish washer . One or both issues could not be seen the floor has softened . The insurance company denied the claim , so I request a second review again denied . Though the house is built in 1964 , if the floor was going to weaken over time it would have happened years ago.At the end of this renew I will reach out to other ins. Companies. The rep. Was rude when communicating with him , very not satisfied . Home owners insurance is designed to protect your home and we as customers fail to get the support needed for what we pay...

Our neighborhood was hit by several severe wind/thunder storms over the past several months which caused damage to our shingles. Several neighbors, “7”to be exact had their roofs replaced with little to no trouble from their insurance company. Most had less damage than my home. After several claims “3” one of which I did receive a check which would not even cover the repair of the damage. I was told my wind and hail policy would be terminated in 30 days.
