PINS Bowling Alley — Local services in Granbury

Bartenders are VERY slow and RUDE. THEY DO NOT CHECK ID'S AT THE BAR! We've sat at the bar for 10 minutes before the bartender came back from the patio smoking her cigarette. She is always texting and practically ignoring her customers. Its honestly the worst customer service i have ever recieved.I ordered a well vodka and redbull and was charged almost $7, later we ordered a whiskey 7 and it was only $3 and some change. So its very inconsistent with their prices. Pool tables are unlevel causing the balls roll to one side of the table so theirs no chance of playing a good game of pool. All but one pool stick have no cue tips on the end. Atleast half of the arcade games don't dispurse tickets like they should so you pay for nothing. Before this place was remodeled it was a dump and after it was renamed and renovated it was great for a while but their has been a steady decline in this establishment. You might as well just make the drive to main event in fort worth. It used to be a very great place that my family and friends enjoyed now we leave disappointed and frustrated 99% of the time! 40th birthday disaster. This rating would be lower if it wasn’t for the kitchen staff and bartender. Reserved weeks in advance for 2 hours bowling and one hour party room. Arrived with my arms full and was not greeted or even acknowledged. A few minutes later my husband walks in and the desk staff greets him and asks him if he needs help. RUDE. First thing we noticed is how HOT it was on there. The AC was busted. No courtesy call to see if we wanted to reschedule. FAIL. The desk staff would not let us have the party room while we bowled. YET our pizzas were brought in there and left!! Desk staff did nothing to make it right. Kitchen offered to help. Desk staff took order for 2 pizzas wrong. Kitchen staff made it right. Lanes kept breaking down. I could go on but I’ll end with VERY DISAPPOINTED! We paid for 2 lanes and paid $13 a person for a party and party room to serve cake. Thank goodness we were all good sports so we had fun being together. But will never plan another event here and probably won’t return as film alley is much nicer. Nice bowling alley, arcade, and bar, but we had major issues with the front desk staff. She told us her name was Echo... apparently a manager there. We arrived at 6pm on Saturday night and she would not let us bowl because she claimed we wouldn’t be done with one game before GlowBowl started at 8pm... ??? Website states it’s open bowling w/ last game starting at 6:45. We tried for almost an hour to get a lane and finally managed one lane for our entire group, even though every lane was completely empty. Once we got everyone’s names down and started bowling she came over and insisted we move two lanes over, even though again every lane was open! We couldn’t understand her reasoning and she was extremely rude and condescending. She turned people away to bowl all evening resulting in almost two hours of empty lanes on a Saturday night. I’m not one for leaving bad reviews but she was absolutely terrible and almost ruined a really fun night...
