I placed an order online and received confirmation that the order would be ready in 5 minutes. Well, I went to the KFC and the parking lot was empty not even crickets. I went up to the door, nope doors were locked. I did see someone in the store, so I went to the drive up and they opened the window. I stated I was there to pick up my order, The guy at the window was very nicely stated sorry but we do not have the popcorn chicken for the buckets, I asked if they could just use extra chicken strips then. He walked back to the window and stated actually we can't complete any of your order we do not have any food, "WHAT"? so I asked about a refund, and he stated you ordered online so you will have to request a refund through the app. Hmmm, Memorial Day week end argggg, Several calls and 3 days later I finally get someone and they are supposed to be issuing a refund, too early to tell if that goes through yet. Not my first issue with this KFC, but it will be my last. Read moreI live 30 miles away from this KFC in a town call Stephenville because we don't have this restaurant or a Wendy's. I have been here twice and last time it was difficult to find because they wouldn't update their address on Apple maps. It directed to to the west side of town and they are on the East side. This time the address was correct. The first time I was there I ordered 2 12 piece orders of chicken winds, Honey Barbeque and the other spicy. They didn't have but 22 wings so they shorted me and didn't tell. I didn't find out until I got home. They use a technique where they pour the sauce over the fired wings and shake them up in a container to spread the sauce around. It works pretty good and saves sauce, I guess. They were both very good. The second time I went I checked if they had enough wings to cover my same order and they said yes, I ordered them and went home. The order was complete but this time they didn't use the shaking technique. It was just dribbled over the top and not sauce was on the bottom of the wings at all. Read moreFirst of all I felt sorry for employees, understaffed, unmotivated and lost. It's a Saturday customers tend to go out for takeout, so peak hours hit during noon time and after 3. They have the drive thru, walk-in, and now the app, so they have customers coming from all directions, and with 5 people it's a challenge. We we're a walk-in, there was already a customer waiting for it's order for a while seem so, then after that we let a customer go ahead of us while we looked at the menu and when we we're ready we we're told to wait just to put our order. It seemed they were struggling to complete the orders for the drive thru and the curbside, only one person seemed to be juggling everything. It's a fast food restaurant, the food had to been ready in quantity to fullfil the orders and it seemed that was not the case. We left and went to the competition.
