Hardware stores are one of the few types that I enjoy and simply browse. Sadly, I had some time limits this time so was only able to get a general idea of all the fun stuff they have here as well as the basics. Granby itself is not huge but the stores have extras which is great! Asking with the furnace filters (hohum) and stove top cleaning supplies ( renters just moved out and the concept of clean stove seems to vary), I got pulled in with a kids' picture book with a living in the Rockies theme. I'm not sure if there is a book store in or near Granby, but I love that I can find some at the Country Ace hardware store! Ps... Staff was super and friendly, throwing in a few town...

These guys just get customer service. I bought a patio set for my Aunt that unfortunately didn't work out for her, as she found it difficult to get in and out of, and uncomfortable. I worked with Jen to find a solution, and they sent out an Ace van to pick up the already assembled set, and provided a refund in full. This could've have been way more difficult, but they made the process easy and fluid. We've been shopping there for years, and this is one of the core reasons. Everyone goes out of their way to help you when you enter the store, and this is what retail in the age of Amazon...
