TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TERRIBLE TREATMENT OF VETERANS. Decided to try the service since the town is extremely limited in options. Set up a service appointment over 2 weeks ago for an install this morning (Friday, November, 30, 2018) between 8:00AM and 12:00PM. At 9:35AM called to make sure the install was still on for today and was notified then that the technician had already came out but couldn't reach anyone. I stated that there must be a mistake, there was more than one of us here waiting all morning, we even have the door open. It was insinuated that we were lying. So I got onto the security cameras that surround both the house and the property. The technician arrived here on the wrong side of the house at 08:59:45 AM, sat in his truck until 09:07:35 AM in which he then walked to the correct side of the house, peeked around the corner with the open door, then walked away without knocking or saying a word. He then stood on the side corner of the house for a few seconds until got back into his truck and left at 09:08:52 AM. I called the office in Grand Coteau again to speak to them about it and offered to send the clip to prove we weren't lying and express that it was unfair we didn't get our install. I was told that he may or may not be able to find time to come back out today and if not, then we'd have to get on the books for an install on another day. I asked to speak to a manager and was referred back to the Morgan City location where they also didn't seem to care at all about trying to make the situation right. I was instead told that they'd attempt to give a message to Chris Price (from what I could understand over the phone) whenever he may or may not go into the office. This is surely NOT a customer service driven business as they take advantage of the fact that there aren't many other service providers in the area to provide internet. Apparently no one is qualified to install at my house except for one technician that is at the other location in Morgan city. I called in March to have internet put in and it is now September and I still don't have internet. The receptionist keeps telling me that she has my order on her desk and will call when they are ready to meet me. Sunset is very limited In the services that we can get.
