Today, 8/4/2021 I made a $40 purchase on dog food. While there, I politely requested credit on a bag of cat food I had purchased two weeks prior for $13. I explained that the ingredients was not as good a quality compared to what I normally get at Costco. The young man in his late thirties I suspect, Caucasian told me he could not give credit because it is a perishable item. The bag was still sealed. He also stated it had a hole in the bottom of bag, which it did not! I have purchased Victor dog food from this store in the past and immediately noticed how dried out the kibbles appeared due to a lighter color than normal. This store like other stores routinely stock dog/cat dry food for several weeks even a month or two before it sold.

It was apparent this individual has no interest in developing good customer relations, he would rather lose business over some frivolous claims he’s making to avoid refunding or crediting a return. The cheap cat food is call Country Value, full of bone meal, gluten, and corn meal (fillers). It has no expiration date on the packaging.

In other words, the store attendant lied, disrespecting himself and me. I will not step foot inside this store again. ...

It's a little bit of the country in the city. A very well kept secret in Grand Prairie. Feed, seed, hay, plants, poultry, tack cages and a whole lot more all under one roof. It's kind of hard to spot if you've never been there but well worth your efforts, when you do find it. The guys that work there are very down to earth plain folk that are very knowledgeable and friendly. So for all your full service feed store needs; this is the place to go. There's even free coffee and donuts, sometimes in the winter months; or at least there should be. I think I'm going to suggest that to them next...

My family and I have been coming to here for 40 years. Recently I decided to get back to the life I grew up with and purchased some new chicks. I bought a few thinking some wouldn't make it but as always the supply from this Feedstore is thriving and by the end of the season I know I will have a full flock. I love that EVERYTHING I need for my chickens, dogs, and birds I can find here. The seeds for my garden, here.
