Nice people operating a great store for those who love finding bargains on unexpected items. They get mostly surplussed merchandise and sell it generally for a good discount price. I visit every time I am in the Dallas area, it's one of my "must visit" places for the Dallas trips, located right in between Dal and FW not too far off i30 it's easy to get to and always an adventure. I find super buys on snack foods and specialty foods, always spend a lot of time on the condiments isle finding things like expensive mustards for fifty cents. I never know what I'll find on each trip, but usually find something new and useful. Groceries, hardware, dry goods appliances, often industrial cleaning supplies, automotive needs and a few parts, paint, tape, candy, tea and coffee along with cappuccino mix, office supplies, dog food. Only down side is that some of the merchandise is old, occasionally the potato chips are a bit stale, but usually they are fine, and at 59cents for a big bag, feed them to my dogs if I don't want them. Look for the date and don't buy if too far past date. Overall,, this place is a valuable asset for the community, I have saved a lot of money shopping there and found a lot of neat stuff that is often very difficult to find even at regular price. My former wife always wants me to take her there when she comes to Dallas to visit the kids and she finds a lot of cooking stuff. ("lots of good cooking stuff" --- hummm, --- now, just why was it I didn't want...
Read moreAbsolutely my favorite place to shop! Majority of store is food but they have a wide variety including clothes, hardware and furniture. Some of the items are slightly past "best by" date. Beyond that date does not mean the food (or other items) are expired or bad. I have used items that are well past the printed dates for more than 60 years and never had any problem. (My mom took me to these types of stores when I was a child. They were typically called 'freight damage stores.') However the savings are remarkable. For instance, cupcakes that sell for more than $1.30 at typical retail stores were 5 cents at Topline. Big family size cereal was $1 per box. Not every item is deep discount but the savings are tremendous. I bought several light fixtures and bulbs that were a fraction of the cost compared to big-box-hardware store. Topline has pet supplies and bulk items typically used by take-out restaurants. And the owner and employees are super nice...
Read moreThis store is a simple place of business that has some of your basic supplies and materials for your home, work, or office. It's a great place to shop. There's items and accessories you can find here at rock bottom prices that you probably won't be able to find anywhere else. Oh, and the snacks, can't forget about them snacks: if you have a sweet-tooth and your easily tempted, you might want to bring a friend or a family member with you, to help you refrain from purchasing a "big box of...
