A family member was recently discharged from the hospital and we were told he would have some number of prescriptions to pick up, probably 1 or 2. My dad picked up one prescription this afternoon and was told that there would be two more ready by tomorrow. My mom called to check the status of these prescriptions and pharmacy staff couldn't find any record of them in their system. I called this evening to clear things up and was told that there were two prescriptions and that they could be ready to pick up in half an hour. When I drove over an hour later to pick them up I was told there were not any prescriptions for my family member, they were for someone else with the same name. My family wasted so much time and effort today for something we thought was an urgent need, and it turns out to have been the result of an incredibly avoidable mistake that happened...
Read moreThe older woman with orange hair is extremely rude. I was taking my work break, grabbing something while on the phone with my child’s dentist (I had been on hold for 15 minutes) and she rudely yelled at me “Let’s GO” to hurry up and put my stuff down. I told her I hope her day gets better and she proceeded to say “I’m having a great day you’re the one on the phone” and when I explained who I was on the phone with she made more belittling remarks so I told her she should be kind to customers and she barked back “I am kind to customers”. Clearly, you don’t know the definition of being kind. Just because someone is on the phone doesn’t mean you can treat them like garbage. You don’t know when it’s the only chance in someone’s day to do anything outside of working. Thanks for making the only hour break I have all day unpleasant,...
Read moreThis Walgreens at forest hills and Cascade road is the worst one in Grand Rapids, the service at the prescription counter is pitiful. There is one middle age girl about 35 who stalls the best she can to avoid waiting on customers. Three times she told customers to wait at the counter for their scripts while rest of us had to wait 15 minutes until that person received her meds. She does the same thing at the drive in ,instead of telling them to pull over or come inside the cars line up. She is horrible and they are too stupid to figure this out. I waited 20 minutes yesterday while she was stalling with a customer reading scripts from meijers, one man called a pharmacist over and told her all I want to do is renew a script. Like I said, no one over there takes it upon their self to get rid of her. This...
