Please don't book any loads with this broker. They are the worst broker you could work with. We are 1 truck company who booked a short MI to MI run with a drop trailer at the receiver for up to 2 bussiness days. Less that a 100 miles run for $900. All this was working for us and a driver needs. Once driver arrives to the receiver he was told that there is no way our trailer will be unloaded in 2 days, they said even 2 weeks won't do it since they have 100 trailer to unload in front of us already. Office people suggested to ask broker to make a live delivery app for Monday and not to drop a trailer. It was nearly impossible to reach a broker over the phone so all communication was mainly thru the emails. Broker kept saying that we are laying that we must drop a trailer for dont matter how many days because we already got paid accordingly. All the harassment just kept going on towards us as a carrier. We have broker an option to either return this freight to the shipper or send a different carrier to crossdock on our property, because there was no way we can make this delivery God knows when for the same $900 rate. All of the sudden new RC was receiver with the same rate and live unloading app for the 08/16( Tuesday). But thats not it. On Monday (08/15), a whole 24 hours prior our live scheduled delivery app, 411 report was filed, for holding a load hostage and not delivering a freight to the receiver! Please DON'T BOOK ANY LOADS...
Read moreRan a load for Ally, accepted tracking, arrived on time for p/u and delivery. Receiver requires you to call # to get checked in and park in designated area to wait. I didnt get a live person, instead a voice mail stating to leave msg and if no one returns your call, to call back in 15 minutes. Did that, appointment was at 8am, arrived at 755, called at 756, receiver (Gordon Food, Houston, Tx) refused to pay 2/12 hr detention per Ally Logistics because they state I was late. I provided a screen shot of call log showing I called as per receivers instructions and had consignee to put time I left, however detention denied. What is purpose of tracking and providing Ally with everything that shows proof I was on time and you not go to bat for carrier(s) that did everything you asked from being on time and providing proof load was on time, not carriers fault receiver is not organized. Ally Logistics, your company should fight harder for the carriers that move your freight especially when it comes to providing proof on detention. Disappointing that Ally Logistics didn't go the extra mile, instead of just an email stating "Receiver stated you were late and denied detention, thank you for...
Read moreBooked a load with these brokers and had my driver on his way and my truck broke down to the point of an overhaul, immediately sent them an email with enough time to recover the load, mind you this is a 24 hr shipper they can cover this, and after 3 hours someone called me stating the driver said he was getting loaded, which was a lie my driver had spoken to someone before the truck broke down and said he was on his way, after that it was impossible as the truck literally broke down. Then i got an email saying not to contact them again because i was placed in the DNL list. This is extremely unprofessional, as in this industry trucks break down all the time and it is out of carriers control. Brokers, shippers cancel loads on us carriers all the time, sometimes even after the driver made it to the load, that is just the way this business works. So, just an fyi for carriers out there, how disrespectful this brokers...
