My sister in law chose men's warehouse for her wedding party and it has been a nightmare. So far I have been in 4 times to try on my tux. First time I got there and was told my tux actually did not arrive even though I was contacted and told it had. Second time I went in they had ordered the wrong tux. Third time I went they had me try on the exact same tux and told me it was different. After arguing with them for about 10 minutes the manager noticed I had in fact tried on the exact same WRONG TUX as the day before. The next time I called before I went in to confirm my new tux had arrived. When I told the girl on the phone I wanted to check if my new tux came in, instead of asking for my name to check she said "We had a lot of suits come in today, so I am sure yours is one of them". They also were very pushy about getting payment. Every time before I even tried the tux on they tried to get me to pay. When I told them I wanted to try it on first as it has been wrong 2 times already they informed me it was policy to pay first. In what world do I need to pay for something before even making sure it is the right thing? All the younger employees there seemed to not care at all. Another member of our wedding party was present for my fitting and he was given a tux with TWO DIFFERENT PANTS. When he asked the female employee why there were two different pants she seemed to be annoyed at him and proceeded to ask the customer why there were two pairs of pants (as if he would know) as she threw them in frustration behind the desk. Over all this experience has been terrible. Every one from our wedding party received the wrong tux and has been back 3 or 4 times to get it corrected. The kid who did my original measurement brought me out a pair of pants and said "these should fit good" They were about a foot short with a waist size big enough to fit the earth in. I really don't think anybody there has any idea what they are doing the whole thing seemed like a joke to me and I'll be sure to spread the word to anybody looking for tux or suit rentals to steer clear of men's warehouse.
It is now 2 days before my sister in laws wedding and I STILL DO NOT...
Read moreThis place is OK, I guess, as long as you have AT LEAST a few hours to spend buying clothes. I went to buy a suit and 5 pairs of pants and shirts, ties and shoes. I bought a sports jacket and 2 shirts because my wife and I were there for over 2 hours and couldn't get someone to help with the process (I'm new to this). If I stayed for probably 4-5 hours I might have got the clothes I needed. The employees are either slow or disinterested in helping, it seems as they wander around very slowly between customers. Also, they would constantly be called away to help each other and then go off helping another customer forgetting they were helping you. This behavior happened each of the 4 times I have been there in the last 2 weeks with completely different employees across those 4 visits. It was busy when I was there the first time, so I get it. When I went back to correct issues with a shirt I was there for 26min just to do a like for like exchange and I couldn't tell who they were helping or what they were doing. They wouldn't start the exchange process while helping someone else even knowing they were in the dressing room. So I just had to wait for someone to get free only to be told I needed a manager to help me. While trying to buy shoes, I waited patiently for an associate to get me a 4 pairs of shoes because I might not get help for another hour. I got the shoes, tried them on and needed different sizes. That took waiting another 11min just to get someone to get me a different size. 40 min later I got fed up and just left without buying shoes because it is just so annoying to shop here.
If you know all your sizes and this is your thing so you don't need any help, this place might be fine. However, if your like me and need help, then just go to Jos. A Bank. I went there and in 1.5 hours I got my suit, 5 pants/shirts/ties and shoes. They were also busy but knew how to multi-task customers, so it went fast. I can't see myself ever coming here again because it just too...
Read moreWe had a very good experience here about 10 years ago, was absolutely shocked when we walked in a saw the decline of the place-it was dirty and unkempt. Staff is now young and not knowledgeable. Young woman was abrasive and pushy tried pushing suits we didn’t want on us, finally got to the one we wanted and she insisted on eyeballing my husband pants for hemming instead of measuring. She made more than a couple lines when marking on back of his legs and this made us question how they would know which line was which. We went back in 2 weeks to pick up suit and pants are uneven. It wasn’t horrible but it is still noticeable, when I pointed this out she got very defensive and made me out to be the wrong one telling me I was overly critical and it wasn’t anything to be concerned with. I asked another young man first and he said yes there was enough of a difference that it should be rehemmed but quickly changed his story when his supervisor (the woman) came over. This place is so unprofessional and has no customer service skills at all! We need the suit for a wedding in a few days so we have to live with it. In the end they said we can bring it back and they will re hem them but we have to have the suit dry cleaned before we can bring it back. I see in above comments this is one of the things they tell customers, this is ridiculous. Nobody gets a suit dry cleaned after wearing for a few hours, it’s their mistake-this it a tactic to deter you from returning. I can probably have someone else hem the pants for a lot less than paying to have a suit dry cleaned- this is just a terrible way of taking care of their customers, we will never return. So disappointed on how they treated us. The young man that tried to help us was very sweet when he first came and looked at my husband pants until that woman came over, he then quickly sided with her. He said he only worked there for a few weeks, young man, run for your life - get out of that place!!! Most bizarre place we’ve...
