Goodwill is an interesting change from most of Grass Valleys thrift stores, every single day there's a relatively different selection, I love the variety and the prices are often very reasonable although occasionally things are priced way too high but it's made up for by the items that are more than reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend goodwill grass valley to anyone looking for a great variety of products, great prices and an ever changing inventory. From well used items to brand new products, goodwill grass valley has a bit of everything in the consumer products market! One little nitpick of mine is the electronics section is an absolute mess half the time, but the other half it's a fairly barren part of the store, if anyone who works at goodwill grass valley sees this I'd love to see the electronics section migrate to a double sided isle and bring back the display cabanet for the higher priced/more valuable electronic items... In conclusion I think goodwill grass valley is an essential part of Nevada counties thrift store ecosystem, and overall it's a much better experience than the salvation army thrift store that closed a few years back... Goodwill in Grass Valley is one of my favorite places to discover hidden treasures! This store is packed full of great clothing..(As a note*The Womens section is substantial, Mens section is painfully Small,the Kids Section is Minimal..But,usually has some really cute items! Clothing is conviently organized by type and color. I usually find several name brand items during my shopping trip, for fair prices! The Household isles are stacked with a plethora of vintage, unique, modern Goods and Wares. New with tags..to mysterious antiques hidden amongst the ordinary dishes, dolls, tools, pictures, art supplies.. Just waiting to be discovered! The shoe Department is just Exceptional.. Most of the time. I have been very lucky ,to have found ,many pairs of gorgeous Boots and Shoes! If you are a shoeaholic like myself.. You may want to bring someone who can help you to leave the store with a reasonable amount of shoes. I love it!! To sum it up, Goodwill is a great store to find quality, affordable, unique items! I used to like coming here because you would find unique stuff at a decent price but as of today I am a little disappointed it is November 2023 at 6:00 p.m. and the whole crew on today's Goodwill team were rude and unhelpful and all around disrespectful my girlfriend and I left the cart unattended for less than 5 minutes came back and it was gone. Along with my personal jacket that was hanging from the cart and when I asked a staff member if they had seen the cart they instantly were rude saying they didn't & instantly tried to blame it on one of the customers saying "oh we have some pretty competitive customers here" but I knew it wasn't a customer I knew it was a worker that was going around collecting carts and taking stuff that was out of place. I asked her and she said that she didn't touch the cart but she did because she came back 10 minutes later after I made a fuss about it pushing my cart with "some" my stuff still in it and when I checked out they continued to be rude and short with me So Goodwill can kiss my a#$!!
