I had an interesting experience at Krogers on the corner of Cheviot and North Bend in White Oak this evening. Two cashiers and one person monitoring one end of u-scan register. The u-scan line went down one aisle, turned the curb and started coming up the other aisle from the back. Needless to say the two cashiers were swamped also. I chose to get in line rather than use u-scan, something I was pretty sure I was going to regret. After visiting with some very lovely people in front of me in line for about 20 minutes, I noticed how calm we all were even though there wasn't a single one of us that wasn't tired of standing in line and anxious to go about our day. I realized that the demeanor of the people around me were influenced by the person leading the line - our hero and cashier - Breanne ! After what I'm sure had been a frustrating afternoon for her, she greeted us all warmly, corrected a price that rang up wrong, ask me if I had any coupons, reminded all of us to put our Kroger id number in the machine and thank each and everyone of us for shopping at Krogers. AND she did it all with a smile and an incredibly empathetic spirit. I have no doubt that people prior to our very calm group of customers, may have been harsh with her, blaming her for the long lines. I also have no doubt that she weathered it like a pro. Imagine my absolute shock when I found out she is in her first week (2nd day) as an employee of Krogers. For anyone that reads this that has any say so in the hiring and retention of Krogers employees, you better hold on to this one tight- she's going to do amazing things. Thank you Breanne for sending me home to my family feeling blessed by your presence. I promise I will pass on the positive spirit that you shared with all...

Guy grunts at me..slices cheese and proceeds to Throw up on the case towards me and walks off!! I was stunned!! Go to check out and young girl working customer service is yelling at a customer complaining about no carts "it's raining and lightening we don't get carts in till it stops" loud enough that all of the front if store heard her.. My cashier starts to laugh and says "yeah I certainly am not getting carts in this rain"! I paid and said I will Never return to this poor excuse of a Kroger...

I could take pictures and prove that the same dirt is look over. The meat area is just as aweful they place cold and hot food to the right on counter and no one wipe the shelves off. Finally the slicers are bad they will cut meat all day and not one time think about presentation you must wipe the slicers off some time during a full day , not to mention that if you ask them to do so you get the dirty looks and can't turn your back because of the look you get.. I feel you take the customers in that area for granted this is a No Pride store, I have to check my bill of sale there is always errors either they haven't taken down a rail tag or they haven't chance the price in the system. Show your customers some appreciation and clean your store. We deserve it and it cost 100.00 dollars to fill every bag on average not the plastic one. We show up now...
