Manchester Plaza — Local services in Green Township

Keep in mind this review is being written during Covid Restrictions, November of 2020. The BMV is what keeps me coming to this location. Convenience and quick service during low volume periods. Aldi grocery has left. The average Chinese Restaurant was once a notch above average for such a reasonably priced, well-stocked buffet. Since they can no longer serve buffet I find better quality Chinese available in the same area at the same entree price. Dollar Tree is Dollar Tree. I don't shop at Gabe's. The cheap furniture place isn't my thing. Harbor Freight offers the worst customer service and product knowledge of any location I've entered but I still go there for cut-off wheels and free flashlights. It's a ghost town so parking is good. Harbor Freight is the only store I have patronized in this Plaza. Harbor Freight has most things you are looking for in a store of this nature. The one draw back of this store are the people who work there. They all seem to resent having to be there and though they will give you an answer, when asked a question, it is usually surly. Unfriendly is as good as the attitudes get. You may have to wait while the single cashier open finishes her phone call or is carrying on a conversation with another of the women clerks. The conversations, of which I overheard, were all personal, both phone and in store. Never an acknowledgement that customers were waiting nor a sorry “sorry to keep you waiting” . Went to harbor freight to check out some of the tools and gadgets available. Purchased some small hand tools because the price is nice but the quality seems a little low. But that's the trade off, I wouldn't purchase any product that would be involving life threatening situations i.e. car jack supports. But if you're aware of questionable cheap tools and are willing to lose them after a few uses then by all means purchases them.
