The showroom and in person attention was great. I bought 2 couches and a sectional from this place. I got the sectional home and realized the other 2 couches would not fit so I had to return one of them (still at the Fairfield store for delivery). I cancelled the couch and delivery and just picked up the other couch. I called and spoke with Furniture Fair and was told that a check would be mailed out for the refund amount (paid on debit card $800 and $2000 financing). I called a week later after not receiving a check. They then said they refunded it on my financing credit card. I explained that is not was I was told and I want it refunded on my debit card. After much more waiting they agreed to mail a check, again. I received the check and it was not even for the full amount of the couch! I called as soon as I received it and was told to call back the next day because the person I needed to talk to is not there. I waited a day and called and was told that I have to wait 3 MORE days to speak to another financial employee! How hard is it to communicate and get refunded for an item that I NEVER picked up!!!! Not to mention on my invoice I am charged for delivery when I never received it. The employee told me they did not see the charge on their end. It is plain as day on my invoice. This has been the worst experience that I have EVER had with furniture. I will NEVER shop here again or recommend this place to ANYONE. It is a great store if you have no issues but as soon as you have one or need to communicate with someone, you will get nowhere. Communication is horrible and they do not put any effort into customer service once they...

Read moreDo not waste your time scheduling a show room appointment. I made an appointment days in advance, outlining the pieces I wanted to see. The staff had no clue I was coming when I arrived. I was then asked what items I was there to look at. When I told the sales associate, I was asked if I brought a picture to help them find the furniture! I ended up finding the sofa set on my own, but they did not have all the pieces I wanted to see. It would have been nice to know prior to arrival as I had provided that information when I scheduled the appointment. It also turns out that the set I was looking at is a “Hot Item” so it does not qualify for the Memorial Day 10% off sale. I would have never gone into the store during a pandemic had I known it was for no good reason. There needs to be a better way to know what items qualify for discount and the show room appointment system needs to be...
