Kroger has become such a disappointment. I’ve grown up with Kroger being the go to store for groceries after thriftway was no longer available. Every time we try to go shopping in the store it’s nothing but self check outs with limited bags and space available and only a few lanes open with clerks and badgers and normally long lines. The self check outs are a joke. You can’t check out a large order without the system stopping you at 21 items to have someone come over and check to see if you stole something. What a shame, if I have to check out my own groceries and have someone supervise me does that imply I deserve an employee discount since I’m forced to scan my own groceries. The click list is terrible as well. EVERY TIME I do the click list something is out of stock. But I find it so funny when I send my husband in to check and see if he can find what was missing and he does! Maybe it’s training failures? Maybe the employees don’t care? But this time takes the cake! We waited almost three hours for our order! Lady came out the first time and was very rude and condescending about a text message I should have seen about my order being delayed, she didn’t even give me a second to answer that no I was driving and I don’t look at my phone while driving because it is illegal to text and drive. And once I saw the message no where did it mention my order would be delayed an hour! So my husband and I waited an hour and came back, rechecked in and waited an hour and a half again. We are typically a very calm and easy going couple but after spending the evening at Kroger our patience was growing thin. After watching car after car pull away with groceries did we ask a young man named Nick what was going on. Twenty minutes later and two more cars departed full of groceries our order finally came. Once I called headquarters to make them aware of my frustrations I was stunned when they basically said sorry don’t know what to tell you, they opened a claim and said someone would reach out (which I have very little faith they will even call.) they gave me a small credit which seemed like a smack in the face. I like shopping at this location it’s newer and normally has more to offer I try to go to Kroger for anything I might need. I really enjoy the fuel points which can be a nice break to have a dollar off gas. I guess I will be giving Aldi my...
Read moreThis store couldn’t be any better for this area and Green Township. Especially with all the new technology, gigantic inside for new items, like new foods, bigger selection of clothing and even nicer bathrooms even though they’re impossible to find without the help of at least two employees directing you. BUt…. It’s just a shame that a brand new Kroger store with all of the bells and whistles and huge financial potential can have the most incompetent management out of all the Kroger’s I’ve dealt with including Price Hill, Western Hills, Ferguson Ave to name a few. But once again they failed again. I ordered a pickup at 12:15 and received the confirmation text at 12:17. The confirmation text is a great idea because it let’s customers know their pickup order had been received and will be filled that day. I chose a pickup time of 4:00-5:00 from the options they had left. So at 3:45 I pulled in the lot and I received a call from the pickup team saying they were running an hour late. I did call but basically how in the hell does it take 3 1/2 hours or 15 minutes before it should be ready to decide to call the customer and inform them??? They should’ve known they were behind hours before, based on things like the number of pickup orders, lack of employees or even the size of my order. But no as usual this location is run by an absolute asinine mgmt team who never gets involved and doesn’t interact with employees working or customers. They’re usually hiding or just out of site. The bigger problem is corporate could care a less about anything except making money. The smaller grocery stores are the ones with top notch mgmt and employees. I know I’m done with this incompetent...

Recently I tried purchasing one of their large cupcakes for my son's birthday he did not want a cake. An employee told me to go speak with the bakery and have her grab me one out of the case and make up a ticket when I attempted to do so she greeted me with "what" I said sorry to bother you but I would like to purchase one of those large cupcakes. She said "I am about to close and I have s* to do". I begged and pleaded with her informed her it was my son's birthday that I did not need to Window Shop I knew exactly which one I wanted and I'd even Tip her. She said "I'm good" i said "at what". She told me she wasn't going to get me one so I should just move along. So instead I just went and grabbed it myself from the bakery case with wax paper around it and headed to the front to ask them to make me a ticket since the lady who was supposed to was refusing. I guess the miserable thing saw me and had rushed to the front and told them I was attempting to steal. By that time I was standing behind her informing them no one was trying to steal, that I was trying to purchase something but because she said she "had s* to do" she refused to help me. The manager told her well he already has it in his hand so make him a ticket she then refused the managers order cursed once again walked away.
How someone like her Works in customer service at a supposed nice grocery store blows my mind.
On the other hand an employee named Annette is the savior...
