EXTREMELY disappointed with Ashley Furniture. I will not continue my business here for any furniture needs again. Ordered furniture on 3/16 and to be delivered on 4/4. From the start it was a mediocre experience and the sales representative seemed impatient with our decision making and what we wanted. Received an email stating that I would get a phone call 2 days prior to set up a window of time for it to be delivered. Never received a call. Called the afternoon the day before and had to leave a message for customer service to call me back. Finally get a call back and I am told that a phone call was placed on Friday, 3/30, and that the delivery would have to be rescheduled because the furniture was "not available". Could not give me a reason as to why it was all of the sudden unavailable, and I NEVER received a phone call on 3/30. I had already taken the day off of work to arrange to be home when it was delivered. I called the store and requested a delivery refund as this has all been a huge inconvenience for myself and my husband. I now 1) have no living room furniture for over a week 2) missed a day of work and I do not get paid time off 3) Now have to request off work AGAIN and potentially miss class depending what time the furniture is delivered, that is IF it gets delivered on the new scheduled delivery date. At first the manager was going to give me a $25 gift card (because that's what normally happens in these situations), but because I had taken the day off work, he decided to increase it to a $50 gift card. WOW. I asked the salesperson on the phone, "are you kidding me? What am I supposed to buy at a furniture store for $50?" Especially when I already have ordered and purchased everything I need. I was then finally offered a $75 credit to my account, which to me still does not rectify the situation. Read moreThere shipping department is awful. I bought $2,500 sectional on July 19, 2019. A month later the sectional still was not delivered. I set up for it to be deliver 2 different times. The first time it was set up to be deliver between 5pm-8pm. They call me the day of delivery and said that they had some cancellations and they will be delivering my furniture at 1pm( over 4 hours earlier then what I agreed to).so I had to reschedule. The next time I schedule my delivery for 3pm. I switch my hours at work so I would be home. Ashely furniture shipping department called me the day of delivery and said, they had some cancellations. My furniture will be deliver at 1pm. I told them I was still at work but my mom was there. I had the white gloves treatment now, because of the shipping issues last time. They said I didn’t have the white glove treatment and they could only drop my furniture off at the street.After going back and forth with Ashely furniture shipping and Ashely furniture store they said they would give me the white glove treatment. They arrive at my house at 1pm. The workers was rude and disrespectful to my mother. They said the room had to be cleared out before they could set it up. So they left with my furniture and said I had to reschedule. Half of my living was clear for my sectional, but they said they needed more space. I spent a couple of hours on the phone, while I was at work, trying to get my furniture delivered. I was so upset I went to the store and told them to cancel my order. They offered me 50 dollars but after the furniture is delivered. I said no thank you. Without me knowing or giving my consent. They schedule my furniture to be delivered the next week. After talking to five different people, letting them know I never gave my consent for this to be deliver and I will not give them a penny if this furniture is delivered. The furniture was never delivered but I was charged for the furniture. I had to report fraud on my credit card and have to wait about 60 days for it to be cleared up. Read moreAbsolute worst furniture buying experience. I went into the store 5/16/23 to look at some furniture in person that I had seen online. The salesman, Tony, was nice but very pushy and persistent. He was in a hurry to get our ordered placed and in the process he had the incorrect delivery address entered in. He said it would be no problem and that he would put in the correct address with his manager. I was called not long after to schedule my furniture delivery for 5/30/23 and was told they would be giving me a call 2 days before to let me know a time. On that call I confirmed my delivery address had been corrected and they said it had. 5/30 rolls around and I had not heard anything so I called to check on the delivery time. When I called I was originally told they didn’t have the merchandise in stock, so they didn’t know how it was scheduled in the first place, then I was told they had one item in but not the other, then I was told they didn’t deliver to my address and then I was told they would be out to deliver my items on 6/6/23. I was called 6/3/23 to be told they actually didn’t come to my area on that day and it would have to be pushed out a week to 6/13/23 and that they would call me 2 days before to let me know a specific time for delivery. It is now 6/12/23 and I never received a call about my supposed delivery for tomorrow so I called back again to figure out what time they would be arriving just to be told it wasn’t scheduled and that they don’t deliver to my area. I don’t understand how it was scheduled for delivery 3 separate times if they do not deliver to my area. Complete waste of time and such a hassle to still not have the items I ordered.
