Ck Nails — Local services in Greensboro

I usually love coming to CK Nails. They usually do a great job for a decent price. The experience & customer service that I received today is the reason why I will not return. I decided to get a full set & a pedicure for my birthday this weekend. The pedicure went wonderful and the nail tech was awesome. I switched nail techs so that I could get my full set done. I showed the nail tech exactly how I wanted my nails. She began to cut my nails down and I told her they were too short. She then says “let’s see how they’ll turn out”. As she’s putting the acrylic on I’m addressing how I’m not use to short nails and that I dislike it. I tell her to stop and I ask her if she can start all over. She states that it will be $5 extra to soak these short nails off. I then ask her how much would my total be. She tells me that it would be $55 ($30 for Nails & $25 for toes). I agree to paying that price. When she finally finishes my nails I follow her to desk to pay my total. She proceeds to tell me that my total will be $93 😳😳😳 I’m very confused at this point. I ask her why and she tells me that she added extra services to my total. I ask to speak with the owner and she only deducts $5. She states that she believes that her employee gave me this price from the beginning so I will need to pay. The owner wasn’t even in the shop until the very last minute. I usually go to ck nails to get my eyebrows waxed, but this time it was horrible. I have a trip coming up in 5 days and wanted my brows waxed for it. When i go there, I told the lady before she started that I did not want my eyebrows thin AT ALL, I just wanted them cleaned up. She started and the first strip was fine but the 2nd one felt like she ripped alot off and it felt like some skin came off with it. She had finished and my eyes were so watery and my brows were hurting so bad. I understand a little sting may happen after, but not a burning sensation. I paid, left, and tried to see if the pain would go away..but it didnt. I went back up there and she put aloe on it after i told her that anything that she puts on it will burn. She ended up giving me a refund. But at the end of the day i was in so much pain, my brows were thin & uneven, I WILL NOT BE...

Rushed. Lumpy. Bulky. Uneven application. I normally come here for Nani but she wasn’t there. Well, now, I probably won’t ever come back…. Don’t go after 5pm…. And don’t go to chair #5 after 5pm. I went in for a soak off and full set. I was encouraged to do a pop-off for times sake. First red flag. Next, I went to a tech who wasn’t busy. The set was supposed to be pink and white, ended up having to be nude. Well once we decided on nude, she rushed ME!!!!!! And then my total came to $85….. I could’ve gotten a better job done and for cheaper at a nail school! And I didn’t even want to argue about it because if you’ve ever been here before… customer service isn’t a virtue so hey, that’s what I get, I guess! Just wanted...
