If you like hibachi-style food but don’t want a long, drawn-out process with flaming onion volcanos to get your food, Midori Express is for you.
The hibachi entrees (with chicken, shrimp, steak, or a combination of these) comes with fried rice and a combination of onions, carrots, and zucchini.
The Clear Soup is like the soup that’s served in the sit-down hibachi restaurants—a clear broth with sliced green onions. You’ll receive a small bag of the rice crunchies to sprinkle into your soup. The soup is always hot and very good.
The House Salad is served in a square flip-top styrofoam container. The salad consists of lettuce and a few carrot pieces. I always order the ginger dressing. Again, this dressing is like the ginger dressing that’s served in the sit-down hibachi restaurants. I love this dressing!
I usually order hibachi chicken or hibachi shrimp. Anytime I have ordered these entrees, they were good and the proportions were plenty for me. I have tried both the white sauce and the ginger sauce (dipping sauce) and I liked the flavor of them both.
They also serve chicken wings, tempura, and a small sushi roll selection. There are chef’s specials offered that includes ribeye steak, filet mignon, grilled salmon, scallops, and more. These chef’s specials include fried rice and grilled vegetables.
The exterior of the building looks a bit aged but the interior is always clean and the tables are wiped off. This building used to be a Burger King restaurant many years ago—I remember when it used to be a Burger King.
This restaurant has been serving customers for a long time and I hope they will continue to do so. The quality and quantity of the food may not be quite reminiscent of the traditional sit-down hibachi-style restaurants, however if you want a meal that is comparable in taste and not as expensive, then try...
Read moreWell, I wanted to try this place but the RIDICULOUS people you allow on your property to harass the people at the womens clinic next door discouraged me from EVER visiting. I just moved to the area and noticed this place on my way to the interstate from my house. I decided to swing by yesterday to see if they had a menu posted or something.
First - WHen I tried to pull in I had to slam on the breaks because this group of creepy women in purple shirts were standing in a circle at the entrance to your drive way praying. I nearly got hit, but thankfully figured out what was happening and noticed the second entrance and entered there. Second - These idiot women came RUNNING up to my car and asked me if I needed their help. I didn't have my windows down and I sure as hell didn't make eye contact with them. I had NO idea who they were or why three of them were standing so close to my door that I couldn't freaking get out. Third - These IDIOT women refused to leave me alone when asked. I finally just had to back up and get the heck out of there.
I see from the review left a few months ago that you know these people are harsasing women and using your property to do it. I am SO disgusted by this. The owner replied and claimed there was nothing they could do? YES YOU CAN! TELL THESE PEOPLE THEY CANT HANG OUT ON YOUR PROPERTY MAKING YOUR BUSINESS LOOK BAD.
Its that simple! Its YOUR property. YOU decide who gets to use it.
I will be sure to let ALL of my friends and family know to NEVER visit an establishment that encourages these crazy people to harass strangers. Once I see these people are no longer permitted to stand on your property I may actually pay...

Overall: 85/100 Badly maintained outside but not trashed. Clean and quiet dining area, fair food, slightly smaller portions and polite staff Would recommend if you're looking for a quick bite and don't want too much food.
Building: 70% I never noticed this place was here. I always thought it was a run down building. The pink paint on the outside seems old, and some of the outside benches are completely bent. However, the interior was low budget, but fairly kept. Some stains on the windows, but not a single piece of anything on the floor and all tables and seats were clean
Food: 85% Hibachi Steak & Shrimp - $9.61 My food was quickly delivered to me in just a couple minutes. The portion was slightly smaller than other places. I tasted all food independently, all were good except the rice which seemed a bit off. The white sauce was slightly watered down but managed to maintain most of its flavor. My Mountain Dew was perfect. In some places sodas taste syrupy...
Staff: 90% The gentleman who took my order was way too serious. When I asked for a drink with my order he said "Tea?(?)" twice. I didn't know what I was hearing (T, tea, two) so he just gave me a cup of ice to serve myself some tea. When I noticed the drink fountain was behind the counter I asked for a soft drink. Although serious, he was very polite all around and even said "Thank you" after serving my drink.
Ambience: 95% The place is absolutely quiet apart from the far away sounds of the kitchen machines. Ceiling fans were silent and no music was playing. I could hear the laugh of staff in the back, but...
