Waffle House — Restaurant in Greensboro

Came up to visit family from NYC. Never been to Waffle House, so was looking forward to my first experience. Went to this location and Boyyyyyyyyyyyy let me tell you. All the tables including the counter tops were dirty. Staff had the personal belongings on the counter tops! Was standing for about 15 minutes waiting to be seated. Once seated I ordered a peppermint tea, and apparently the waiter thought it was funny because she mocked and laughed at me with the cook (older black man with salt and pepper hair) She returned explaining how there was no hot tea at this time. Soon after, the cook came over to our table rushing us to order with snots in his nose and wiping his nose with his back of his hand and arm. We were so turnt off, we got up and left. Once out the door with were chase by a waitress name Dena. Dena wanted to know why we were leaving. We explained our reasons for choosing to leave. She was concerned, but our minds were already made up! To be honest they all looked and acted very unprofessional and the cook looks like he gets high and may even had been high at the time This was Monday at 12pm 3/20/2023. We ended up going to the one located in Gate City, we were so pleased! It was definitely a better atmosphere...

I was there Sunday morning around 1 am. Waited about 20 mins to order at the window. It was busy so I understood. A young lady later took our orders. While waiting I noticed a white car circle in & out about 3 times. Guy jumps out the car and beats on the Glass to get the cooks attention inside. He threatened him that he was gon have to see him after he got off! He then got in his car & left. Well 5 mins later, so did the cook! We were all issued refunds but it sucked to waste my time & still leave with no food!

Following Tuesday morning around 1 am. We try again. A new cook is there outside smoking. Took his time & barely washed his hands. Long story short. I ordered. Food was cooked. Waitress was called to pack it up and he went back outside to smoke immediately while acting super weird frfr. I ordered bacon, got sausage & no chili on my hash browns although I was charged for it! I will not be returning to this Waffle House. There was a wait so I put my name on the list to be texted when my table was ready. I sat outside and waited in my vehicle in the parking lot. When I got the text, we quickly walked up only to find out that our table had been given away. We ended up having to sit at the bar where the employees talked and talked about everything before ever taking our order. Our food sat for a while before I finally said something to the lady about getting it out to us. Our waitress never brought our food over, it had to be done by the person working the grill. I would also point out that no other tables had come in since we had arrived. There were no other food orders being handled besides ours. Our silverware was dirty when we sat down. I asked that the bacon be cooked medium and it was burnt and crispy. I love waffle house but this place...
