Cook Out has become one of my go-to spots for a scrumptious, no-frills burger experience. I've visited this fast-food joint several times, each visit leaving me more impressed and satisfied than the last. Here's why Cook Out has earned its four stars in my book:
First and foremost, the burgers at Cook Out are top notch. They are cooked to perfection - juicy, flavorful, and served on a soft, toasted bun. The variety of burger options is also impressive, with classics like cheeseburgers and bacon burgers, as well as unique creations like the Cook Out Style burger with chili and coleslaw. The customizable toppings allow for a personalized touch, ensuring that each burger is made to your exact liking.
But Cook Out isn't just about the burgers. Their menu offers a wide array of options, including hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and even barbecue. I particularly enjoyed trying their BBQ tray. The portion size was generous, and it was a delightful departure from the usual fast food fare.
What sets Cook Out apart from other fast-food chains is their extensive selection of sides and beverages. The Cook Out Tray, which includes a burger or chicken sandwich, two sides, and a beverage, is an excellent value for the money. Their sides range from classic favorites like fries, onion rings, and hush puppies, to unique options like chicken wraps and quesadillas. Every side I've tried has been consistently delicious and perfectly complemented...
Read moreWent to this cookout on my lunch break at around 10:45pm . The woman was cutting in and out on the speaker and I couldn’t hear her so she got mad and rude and had someone else take over that was also cutting in and out . When I told them what I wanted loud so they could hear me they quit talking so I pulled up to the window . I ordered cheese fries which I did not receive nor did they put it on the ticket . When I sat there and made sure I had everything that I paid for because some of it was for coworkers they got frustrated . I told them there was no cheese on the fries and they said sorry bout that have a good night . I said no I want cheese fries I ordered cheese fries and she said that will be .53 cents . So I paid the 53 cents only to be surprised with the cheese in a paper cup wrapped in aluminum foil and they got mad and pushed it in. Pictures below : also they gave me a nice surprise inside my burger( it’s aluminum foil) then proceeds to smash it . I am usually 100% easy to get a long with and understanding about things but this was absolutely nothing but meanness . She told me the manager name was Steven but he didn’t speak with me : no one else told me names or had visible name badges . The number on the link does not work it says mailbox full. Absolutely worst fast food experience I have ever had and I will be contacting...
Read moreI Visited the. Greensboro location while out Christmas shopping with my adult daughter a few nights ago. It was busy but the lines both went quickly. The only problem I had was I Specifically and very loudly (both my daughter and I said at the same time when ordering) NO CHEESE on my bacon burger. You could see they had accidentally added cheese, and had attempted to pick it off. Lumps of cheese remained in my bacon, (which was very crispy and done just right, but the cheese ruined it 🥺) We were very hungry after shopping and searching for someplace open after 10 pm so I just picked as much as I could off of the burger and ate it. But it was very disappointing to me. We have had the big kids bring us back Cookout trays but this was my 1st experience having it hot n fresh, so I was quite disappointed. Alas, we will be going back in the future, my only hope is they get my order correct next time. Oh and I got double onion rings but the cashier never asked if we wanted any sauce. For me or my daughter, who waited to eat her chicken fingers til we got home instead of...
