Upon entering the store, Richard, while a very nice guy, was very pushy from the start and wouldn't let my husband and I browse the store without him interfering. Not all the inventory is displayed in the store and when asking to see something, we're given excuses such as "it's on a forklift so we can't bring it out".
So we decided to go ahead purchase a new bed set from here without actually seeing it, thinking if we didn't like it we could return it if it doesn't match the image on the website. Placed a deposit down and Richard ran my card without me seeing any receipt or informing me about their return/cancellation policies. We only received the receipt after it was stapled and put together.
In the end, we didn't need the bed set as we received one as a gift (something we found out shortly after our purchase). I called back a little after an hour of the purchase and spoke with Richard again asking to cancel the order. THEN he informed me of the return/cancellation policy and that it would be a 25% restock fee on the entire order. Richard said he would contact the owner and see about trying to get my money back. About an hour later, he called and said his boss said "Absolutely not!". I asked if I could get his boss's information so I could speak with him, explaining my situation. Richard did do this but only to call back and said "I got an angry e-mail from my boss telling me that's what he hired me for."
I asked him one more time to e-mail his boss asking if he could at least just do the restocking fee on the deposit and Richard refused at this point. Kept on trying to suggest if we could use this set as a guest room set or put the money towards something else. I explain to him, if they weren't willing to work me on the deposit and restocking fee, why would i want to continue business with them? He started to yell at me over the phone and trying to talk over me.
At this point, I cancelled my order. I am out $225 because of this mess and Richard's mistake of not informing me about the return/cancellation policies.. DO NOT REPEAT MY MISTAKE! TAKE YOUR...
