I absolutely loved this place! My husband and I stopped in to order some food to take home and eat. This was our first visit so we really didn't know what to expect. It's very casual so you won't feel out of place in jeans and a t-shirt. On one side is a bar and on the other is a restaurant. You don't have to go in separate doors to get to either one. I believe there are pool tables in the bar area. Now for the food... FANTASTIC! I ordered a 10oz ribeye, fried squash and a loaded baked potato. Steaks come with a salad but I opted for the fried squash instead. I'm so glad I did because it was without a doubt the best I've ever had! It was kind of crinkle-cut like french fries, only bigger. It was nicely battered and deep fried. I've never seen it like that before but I loved it. The loaded baked potato had real bacon and cheddar cheese in it and was served with butter and sour cream. It was cooked to perfection and I ate it, skin and all. The steak was nice and thick and also cooked to perfection. It was trimmed nicely and didn't have a bunch of excess fat nor gristle in it. My meal also came with Texas toast. As for the staff, everyone was very nice and friendly. They all seemed happy. I've worked in restaurants before and I know enough about it to know that if the employees seem happy, it's probably a good place to work and eat. It reflects in the way they interact with their customers. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this restaurant. There were lots of different menu items to choose from as well as a kid's menu. There was something for everyone. I was impressed all the way around and will definitely make it a regular place to eat. We moved a few months ago and have been exploring the nearby restaurants and shops. After my experience with this one, it went straight to the top as my favorite so far. Great job Karonda's! A+! You...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was looking for a place to eat an early supper. I googled restaurants in between were I was and where was going. I saw the menu online, saw ribeye steak. I came in to the restaurant and saw the menu, 16 oz Ribeye Steak $23.75. The steak was okay, not as good as Texas Roadhouse. A little too salty or over seasoned like Outback or LongHorn.
I was not thinking about the price when I got the bill. It was $34.11. I thought $7 would be a good tip and signed the bill. Driving down the road I thought why was the bill roughly $10 more than it should have been. I only had an ice water.
I looked back at the menu online, and sure the steak is listed for that price. I was looking to see if it says anything about automatic gratuity or service charges for tables of one- Really anything. I found some print on the bottom of the page, it states:
āPRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE - ANY CHANGES WILL BE IN EFFECT AT TIME OF ORDERā
This place is a dump, this kind of establishment would be referred to as; āA hole in the wall.ā Maybe passing through and looking for bite, donāt stop here. I definitely do not recommend.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far the best pimento cheese around. Quality fresh ingredients and delicious food. The staff is very attentive and remembers everyone's name If they've been in a couple of times. I will be back over and over and over again. Bingo isn't my thing but they sure do have a good time on the night they have it and it's a great place to see local bands when they are around. The beer is always cold, and the bar tenders are second to none. The owner is always around and is very caring and values the patrons. Definitely that good ol' fashioned "Momma made it" taste on so many things I can't list. I think of this place as more of the community hub because of the atmosphere and locals who are there. By far the best place for a good bite...
